New Grower Gratefully green husband

Thanks Man :greenthumb:, I'll remember that next time I put a bean in a pot.
Yeah, I did not think it had anything to do with the lights. A lot of new growers put cups over the tops of their babies and this happens to them a lot.It looks like your coco may be holding too much water. It is a balancing act. Sometimes no mater how perfect conditions may be shyte just happens.

So, after the first week we have one survivor. Fast Buds West Coast OG [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is a hardy lil' gal. She's a little bruised and battered but she's growing again and hopefully on her way to maturity. She's about 2 inches and starting her 3rd set.

Day 12 and Day 1 for 3 new OG Kush Autos. I think the West Coast OG is doing well now and back on track. The new OG K's are tiny like the previous one that didn't make it. Maybe these will continue to grow. In any case I didn't wet the pots like I did the previous run. Nor will I change light intensity to soon.

Day 14 and Day 3. I have been trying to keep the VPD in a sweet spot btwn 8.0 - 10.6. Temps have been btwn 80 - 86 F with RH avg btwn 70 - 75%. Also, been trying to dial in CO2 to be a high of 1500 and slowly lower to 900 or so before coming back on.
I have noticed some leaf tip burn, any suggestions? Some have suggested over watering.

After a couple of rough starts I now have 2 hardy plants that are lucky to have survived the first couple of days because of the way I tried to germinate them. And I have 2 plants that I germinated correctly and haven't had an issue except for a deformed leaf on one. My biggest concern now is watering. How much and when? The coco the plants are in was very wet when I germinated the seeds and I have not been giving much water. Two ounces to the seedlings every other day twice now and 8 oz every other day to the 2 wk old. The bags seem to still have some weight to them and the surface is bone dry. Should I just keep doing what I'm doing or let the bags dry up some more before I start watering? I am growing with organic living soil amendments in coco with perlite. I am not adding any nutes to my water.

Day 7, the 1st photo shows an OGK that was germinated directly in a golf ball size pure coco core surrounded by living soil. Notice leaf tips. 2 and 3 were germinated straight into grow bags containing living soil without any type of buffer. The soil had been active for about 3 weeks before germination. Great color and no observable issues.

Day 18, this one was germinated in pure coco core and got off to a slow start. It is the only one of 5 to survive. She is doing well now.
