New Grower Gratefully green husband

Thanks @Hypathetical Gardener I have well water and just ran some tests.

Well H2O
293 ppm @ 75.2F
pH 7.6

RO H2O
46 ppm @ 77.0F
pH 7.4

And the stoner :baked:in me just realized :LOLStoned: I should only pH correct the water I'm going to use at that moment not the whole reservoir. :oops1: :wall:
I PH my top-off tank when I fill it to 6.1 then do a final PH when it goes into the res. This gives it time to stabilize in the top-off then just minor adjustments to the res.

Everything seemed to be going smooth with the grow. Not so smooth with the hurricane this weekend though. Temps and humidity has been all over the place with this weather. Regardless, I think I cooked my plants by turning up my light to soon.

Leaf twisting and brown spots. Pictures of light at 5 foot from leaf surface with 220w and 440w. I should have kept it at 220w. Live and learn. I lost one, going to lose at least 2 others and it's possible all 5.

What do you all think? I will probably scrap this grow and start over. Two of 'em may pull through.

I cannot tell plant health in that colored light. Get a daylight CFL 5000K bulb and use it only, for diagnostic pictures. No way could you burn plants from 5 feet or even 30 inches. Something else is going on here.

Looks like a couple might make it...

Main thing is you made it through the hurricane so the rest of this can be fixed✌️
You got that right. We lucked out I think when it's intensity died and it shifted direction. We only lost one tree, but it fell across our driveway (and 2 others). A couple neighbors and I spent a few hours in the pouring rain clearing it away.

this sounds like a seriously powerfull light if at 5 feet away and running 20% and seedlings still not happy.have you another light they could sit under for a couple of weeks ?
:pighug:

Is that light on 100% intensity? if so the seedlings can’t take it... I know with my kindxl I raise the light up pretty high and have it at 15/30/30%... it could be intensity...

I'm pretty sure it's intensity. When 2 COB (50w each) and 3 panels of Bridgelux (55 to 60w each) are on it is on the lowest setting (seedling) at about 260w. 4 COB and 3 Bridgelux panels, about 380w is the early veg setting and 6 COB and 6 Bridgelux at about 650 - 675w is the late veg and flower setting. This light also has IR and UV lights too. The first two pics show the light at 5 feet (60 inches) above the surface of the pots. The 3 pic is close to 5 ft but it only shows the light fully lit, the bags are empty.
