Day 5 of Flower….

Day 7 of flower.

The White Widow is starting to show pistils :d5:

Still no sign of sex on the Gorilla Glue, but we're very close.

I think I just did my last major round of tucking. They're getting too bushy and dense to handle much more. I think I'll leave them for another couple of days then do some pruning. After they're thinned out a smidge I'll see if I can fill up those last few corners...

You're going to fill that net nicely. I wouldn't do any pruning until day 10 when you're really into the stretch. Spread them then let them grow up 6+ inches above the net. Not far from that day but when it comes I'd prune anything that is either thin or not reaching the canopy and repeat at day 21 with a light defoliation just above the net.

Is there a particular focus/goal/strategy you have on your day 10 prune? i.e., fan leaves below the canopy, skimpy growth in general, general thinning out, etc?

Aiming for a light prune below the net targeting the things you've said, then at day 21 doing the same thing higher up but with some light defoliation. It will keep humidity pockets to a minimum

Day 10 since flip to 12/12....

Today marks the first major haircut for these ladies. I focused on the under carriage. I felt like I removed a lot but the plants are still super bushy lol. Pics below are post-trim. I feel I probably could have taken more but it's not easy getting at those back corners with the net in place and only access to one side of the tent. Definitely something to consider for future grows...

Still no signs of sex on the GG#4; scattered pistil on the WW widow but they're few and far between. The plan now is to try to stretch/open the plant up a bit more and fill in those last squares over the coming days, then one last prune/defoliation in another 10 days or so.
