New Grower First time grow with 'Early Miss'. Photo and time lapse video:-)

Oh I also forgot to mention, two days ago I was reading about humidity. I seemed to have it a bit too low, around 40% and 36% (I have two meters in there). It's now around 56%....
I decided to use a humidifier that I was using for my terrarium (hermit crabs)....they didn't need it anymore as their humidity has kept quite high on it's own. I couldn't find a bigger pump for it, and the small one that I have here wasn't doing the job so I just left it open with the sponge dipping in the water. Seems to be working. Hopefully it gets a bit higher....then I'll take it out for the flowering stage:-)

Holy smokes, I've been doing the math here....we leave for 6 months right on the day my plants turn 8 weeks old. I have someone to help with the harvesting/curing, but I really wanted to be present for longer, to do the flush, and especially some of the clipping. Ugh! These are supposed to finish in 7 weeks....

I've been reading a lot about the final stages of this, and I'm curious if there is any way to speed things up if possible. I have 24/7 lighting now. I don't add my own nutes (normal soil). Any suggestions or am I up a creek here? For Early Miss is says 60 days....and I am reading that you usually add a week or two. So sad....wahh!

Maybe if I talk to them and plead with them? LOL!

Ok that's it, I'm getting an HPS light. Not sure how many watts. Time to research. If anyone catches this, how many watts should I aim for? Hopefully this helps things along. I don't want to raise the temps too much, right now I am at 76 degrees and 55-60% humidity....everything seems pretty good....

I've noticed it is in pre flower....saw the little whispy things at the base of the stems, looks just like the photos online. In two days they will be 4 weeks old.

Will switching to a 20-4 cycle help the flowering along? Or should I just keep it at 24-0?

Eeek!

My 2 cents....HPS (unless ventilated/exhausted/cooltubed) is going to generate too much heat.

Go LED and never look back...and grab some CaMg. :)

Thanks guys for the advice! I am actually going to keep the CFLs, and the LED UFO light in there....I am just adding HPS to the bunch. I will figure out how to rig it so that one light doesn't shadow the others out....I may have to rotate the plants every so often for the HPS if I put it to the side on an angle. I will figure it out.

I am also afraid of the heat but I have a fan/exhaust now that is keeping the temp down. I am looking at this to get, it's the cool tube. Is this the best option? If so, will 400w be ok or should I go 600 and risk heat?

Right now I have a steady 76 degrees....

Thanks again guys!

yes LED is a better choice but there expensive.. just saying. :Sharing One:

star you can look at my grow room that has 1 600 HPS and 1 400 MH. to get the same energy with led id need to spend 2 grand. I plan to buy led lamps soon but its a big expense upfront but worth it in the end.

I own the exact 400 you posted. it doesn't get very hot. using a cool tube you will have no heat issues. Are you putting this inside a tent?
