New Grower First time grow with 'Early Miss'. Photo and time lapse video:-)

Yeah they both got a bit of nute burn from the soil....one more than the other. Hopefully they turn out alright! :-)

Day 52: Things were going great until yesterday:-( Serena is in rough shape. I suspect it has something to do with the CalMag mix....my husband I think put way too much in the water. Could that be the problem? Persephone is still ok but started to get the spotting on the bigger leaves towards the bottom.
Thanks in advance!

Other than that, Serena again overtook Persephone in height....

Sorry for the crappy photos, my good phone is in for repairs, and this is from a cheaper one I am using until it's fixed.....but you get the idea!

Checked in on them today, she doesn't look any worse, but am still worried. I suspect that if she pulls through it will majorly effect growth. *cries*

Yeah, it still looks like a calcium problem but I have been giving them a lot of calcium supplements. Weird! Ok, they just need to hang in there for two more weeks darn it! Ha ha!
Doesn't help we are leaving for 6 months, hopefully they pull through for my caregivers....

What does your pH look like? Maybe the Ca is being locked out? There are soil test kits that are inexpensive, and will tell you what are the levels of nutrients in your soil.

Wow, haven't been on here for a while, and sorry for lack of update!
My two plants turned out pretty darn good! I had to leave for the winter before they were done, but I had a friend harvest them for me!

I came back to Canada and had a fun time trying both of them out. One plant (not sure which one, darn!) was a nice giggle high. The other, well....it's been named 'The Crippler' by friends. I have NO idea why they would both be so different. The 'Crippler' puts you out, I mean, you are just couch locked with a smile, and can do nothing else. Why would this be the case?! Same strain, two different results. Everyone I know is demanding 'MORE CRIPPLER'. HAHA!

Oh well! Success I would say!

I am going to go for another grow starting this week! Four plants this time;-)
Going to do the same set up as before, since it worked so well. Maybe next summer I'll try hydro.

The only thing difference is that I will be going back and forth from the plants and need to set up an auto dripper for the times I am away. I went with the Oasis Claber Self Watering System. Seemed like an easy set up for me, though I am reading mixed results and may need to tinker with the settings a bit. If anyone has any experience with this system, let me know.

I know the Blumat systems are more highly regarded but the Oasis Claber was on Amazon, and I have Amazon gift certificates....
If I don't have much luck with this system, I'll try the Blumat next time:-)

Excited for my second grow....hopefully my first time wasn't 'beginners luck'. HA!

Cheers:-)
