Yesterday I noticed some brown on the end of one of Persephones lower leaves. I thought I had caught it between the pots but now the other two tips on the leaves are starting. Is this normal? Photo below They are so insanely dark green and this is the first time I've been ANY discolouring or lightening. Maybe I am not watering enough?
Also, as you can see from the photos, Persephone is much taller, and Serena is more fat and stalky (wider leaves too). Interesting....! I've also changed the lighting a bit....Each have a 2700k and a 6500k bulb in addition to the led UFO. Finally got it rigged right by moving some of the bars on the tent....now I can fit the camera at the front for better time lapse videos
Edit: Forgot this photo of the new lighting set up!
Edit 2: Just read the browning may be a bit of nute burn....I don't add my own, so I guess I'll just have to see what happens....
Yikes really? Maybe not such a dark green but more so uniform and nice colour. I posted a photo a page or two back with them in natural light. What do you think?
I mean, they look good to me, but I am not able to see their true color as well as you can. You did mention that there might be some nute burn, and if that is the case, N toxicity would make sense. Take a look at this reference guide:
Update! Day 25. Some changes were made to the tent....namely the fan and filter. Added some photos of that below. Had to move stuff around so I could move one of the top poles out of the fan area. Liking it so far. In the bottom photo you can see a picture of a very curious kitty;-)
It's also amazing how different these plants look. Persephone is very tall and spread out all the way up. Serena is shorter and stubbier, with the rows of leaves growing closer to each other. They were treated the exact same way....very interesting!
