New Grower First Grow: Pink Lady and Lowryder #2 with chronic ryders to come

Hey Auto,
I've grown Lowryder #2. It's a strong high, super-crystal covered. Leafy and hay-smelling though, but a good head high. Here's a pic from my LR2 harvest. :goodluck:

Hi Alaskan,

that looks like a pretty good yield. How many plants was that? Im hoping my LR #2 (Arwen) will yield decently for the strain. She is pretty big at almost 20". How tall were yours when they finished?

Here is a nug shot of the Pink Lady Boudicca. She is 60 days old today.

Updates: Snipped a test bud... she needs more time haha

Got a bit eager to test Boudicca out so we snipped the smallest bottom branch and used a volcano to vape part of it. The first bags tasted a bit grassy but then the taste improved a bit. Slight notes of cucumbers and some berries. I can't wait till I have some properly cured. I left most of what we clipped up to dry. The high it gave was extremely spaced out and racy even. Definitely needs a couple more weeks to mellow out some. She was unexpectedly potent though. I got far higher that I though I would. We only vaped like 1g of wet. Here is a pic of what I cut and one of her main cola fattening up. It is Day 61 for her now. Planning to chop around 74 or 75.

Arwen is on day 39 and has a bit more yellowing but seems to be growing just fine in spite of it. She seems to appreciate the 65w cfl as side light. It is also helping me keep humidity down even if it pushes temps to 79-81.IMG_1746.jpgIMG_1744.jpg

Aurora is continuing to grow up. She seems to be more nute sensitive too as I noticed a bit of claw and burn after the last veg feed. Eos didn't show any signs of having too much. I can't wait to see how different these two phenos will be. They are on day 23.

Willa Mina Day 11

Can't wait till the little ones start exploding too. I can tell they are almost ready. Well Mina seems to be lagging a bit but Willa and Inanna are going fast.

A shot of all the girls hanging out.

Here's some pics of the LR2 with a 12 inch ruler placed in the pic.

I believe I had 5 ounces from 6 plants; so some plants over an ounce, some under. I grew this in early 2013, and still have some cured, good as new.

Hey, you've got some nice pics.

Got some mephisto beans for my next run and also because seedsman had a promo. 3 x Tyrone's Special, 2 x Sour Crack and 1 Exodus Cheese freebie which i still have no idea what Im gonna do with. Might give it to a friend who grows photos... or save it for a future experiment.

I really need to get a ruler. Right now i use a piece of wire with a kink in the middle that is 8.5" on one side and 11" on the other (I used a piece of paper to measure). Arwen just surpassed the wire in height so is now around 20". The yellowing doesn't seem to have slowed her down much at all.

Looking real nice autob, keep it up !

The Yellowing on Arwen has spread a tiny bit more but i think it is mostly just the already damaged leaves looking a bit more burnt. Other than that she seems to be growing fine. Did notice 1 gnat in the room today so will get some traps in case. Aurora also seems to have been burn a bit. Im thinking I will adjust the feed schedule to be lighter all around and am researching organic bloom ferts i could use instead of the MG. All the girls other than Boudicca and Arwen got plain water this morning.

Updates

Hey All,

a lot has been going on these last couple of days. Arwen's problem has gotten a lot worse and I got help in the LHT and the Infirmary and top dressed her with dolomite and flushed to try to correct pH. My first tests put the ph of the soil around 5 but after the flush my runoff was testing around 6.5 so soil pH should be around 6 now so definitely better.

Everyone else is doing excellently. Because of what happened to Arwen I am going to make sure to go easy on the fish fert on the others as that is the only thing i did differently between her and boudicca and it seems to have almost killed her. Wished I had been checking pH and had flushed earlier. Oh well... Lesson learned.

On to the pics...

I am beyond excited for her to come down. Smells like strawberry candy. She isn't really yellowing much so im thinking I might let her go all the way to 80 days... If I can possibly restrain myself that long. Although... this Pineapple Super Silver i just picked up should help with that :smoke:

Boudiccas budding up nicely there mate. Im sure arwen will come round in a few days. :karma Cloud:

Updates

Decided it was time for Boudicca to die and so gave her the snip and got her drying in a paper bag. Im betting she put out about 15g's total. We will see in about 3-4 days. Do most people take dry waits after the dry and as they are being jarred to cure? Here are some Harvest Shots. She was 68 Days old:

Arwen got a careful and light foliar feed and seems like she will pull through. I would definitely recommend using more dolomite lime if you are going to use wg's easy dirt guide and not pH your feeds. That fish fert alone at 1 tsp/gal sent my pretty soft water (~35ppm) to red/orange on the color test which puts it around 4.0... pH'ing even just with the drops is definitely a must. I am going to save up for a proper tester for my next run.

Day 47
IMG_1981.jpg

Eos and Aurora got left a tiny bit too long without water and lost a couple lower leaves. As soon as i noticed i gave them their first flower feed of roots organic and molasses both at 1tsp/gal. I also got some earth juice pH up and down and corrected their feed water so hopefully these girls dont go the same way Arwen did. Their vertical growth has slowed and Aurora is about 20" and Eos maybe 17-18". They are on day 31.

Inanna, Willa and Mina all got a veg feed of fish fert at 1tsp/gal. Also corrected the pH for them. They are doing great and should all take off soon. They are on days 19 and 20.
