My two mystery autos, thinking they’re both SODK.

And my fan timer looking a little crazy lol. I’ve been adjusting it each day depending on weather. Worried too much direct wind will interfere with normal leaf processes, and the ones in more intense wind are starting to curl up on the edges. There’s also a good chunk that gets almost no fan. C’est la vie, that’s why I’ll h2o2.

View attachment 1103984 Just had a decent branch break off gg, may need to start considering extra support. Thinking I’ll dry it and make coconut oil?[/QUOTE
Use grape seed oil ! Check it out. Lots more medicinal and runs in better . Better for skin & skin cancer.

Oops use grape seed oil. Check it out.

I have a feeling this last few weeks will be the hardest. Sprayed with h2o2 and many of the branches bent nearly to the ground. Gave them some extra support in the waning light, but eventually I had to leave them be. I’m lucky to have gotten this far with them, I all but neglected GG most of the year. Wish I had bought an oscillating fan lol.

I was thinking the other day about your grow and this picture helps. I saw i one picture there was a solid fence in the distance. And here I can see trees to another side. But also you have some pretty tall grass just against the wire fence. I think with all the grass collecting dew in the surrounding area you are creating a very humid micro climate that has you fighting an uphill battle.

Next year you may want to tarp the area in the ground and grow in large pots. Tarps on the ground will help with few from grass and the pots will get your plants 18-20 of the ground to help with natural airflow.

Just thoughts based on issues I’ve had with my tomato plants throughout the years. Been watching you battle the environment and you are doing a great job. Looking forward to trying outdoors myself next year.

Thanks! I agree, and the garden doesn’t get direct light until almost noon some parts of the year. There’s a wall of trees on one side, a house very close on another, and the grassy fence. I thinned out the grass considerably a couple weeks ago, but it’s still there. I’d really like to move the garden, but not sure where I could make it work. Especially discretely lol. I’ll consider the tarps though, I bet that would be a ton easier to work with than the weedblock stuff I was unrolling in the early summer.
