New Grower First grow, outdoor GCS Critical Purple Cold Weather

Mounted a fan on my roof. Reeeeally hoping to harvest this GG. How do I get bigger, denser, better buds?
Intense direct light. Noticed a few of the natural light plants I started for a friend turned out fluffy compared to the same that stayed indoors. Quality still the same and the sun is free. Just not always 100% on,

Some outdoors growers have better environment though and probably get thicker buds. Might also be other factors but your grow seemed to have environmental challenges that might account for it.
I run the same strain inside and outside many many many times over and over again.

With the same quality inside or outside and hasn't made a difference.
I've never noticed a fluffy Bud versus a dank Bud on the same plant because I grew it outside in natural light or the other way around with artificial light inside.

For when I have noticed the difference in environmental challenges as you spoke of.
Such as not getting enough intense light or too much moisture (humidity too high) and food that's a big one as well.
What you feed the plant can dictates the size of the bud also the density can be effected.

There's a lot of factors to consider when trying to figure out this scenario.

You need to really grow a plant a few times before you really start to understand how to make that happen.

Take notes each time[emoji482]

Thanks for the info guys. I appreciate all of your experience.

I tried to pick the clearest plastic I could for the awning, I’ve had so many issues with mold that keeping dry was my main priority. My fan comes on for an hour 4 times a day. It’s blowing pretty directly on the buds, I couldn’t really find a way around that. Hoping that all of this helps.
Why are you worried about the fan blowing on the buds?

I have a fan blowing on the buds and plants all day and night 24/7 from now until harvest. To help prevent powdery mildew and moisture. This helps keep the whole crop dry. You really wanted to blow on the buds because you want to dry them off and keep them cool. Condensation can promote Bud rot.. so you want to keep it dry as possible.
Does it look like I clearly have at least 30 days to harvest? Want to BT, but also want to make sure it has time to metabolize.

H202 wash..often..And in-between other spray applications.
Green cure or Lite mix of neem application's. It's best to spray the leafs as much as possible and whatever land's on the buds will be fine.

Thanks a ton, you know mold has been killing me this year, not going to take my chances. Maybe I’ll harvest most early and leave a few to ripen more fully. I’m hoping my fan and awning helps guard against rot, but still better safe than sorry.
I've been spraying milk n h2o2 like crazy. I have 2 plants I'm battling pm shits no fun!

Don't smoke the frog, unless you dry it properly in paper bag for a month and let it cure in jar for at least 6 months. Good grind is also recommended, because frogs don't burn well, when just rolled whole.
Frogs are also great for making edibles, ask any French person for their favourite (family) recipe.:mrgreen::drool:

Things are still looking good, did some bud inspections and found some nests in a few buds, much less damaging than worms, looked like some kind of small fly. Was basically just little web pods. Pulled them out, no bud damage, but they’re getting fat enough that I’m going to begin h2o2. I was waiting as long as possible, I’m assuming there are healthy beneficial bacteria living on the surface that I will destroy, but at this point moisture is starting to get trapped when it’s wet. I keep wondering -if my biome on the plants and the health of the plant is strong enough - would it repel mold if I let it be and kept my airflow healthy enough. Either way, foliar today for silica and calcium, then h2o2 tonight. It begins.
