New Grower First grow, outdoor GCS Critical Purple Cold Weather

Water has a lot of weight to it almost 8 1/2 pounds per gallon at 62°.
Has it rain on your shelter yet?
Yes, there are two drainage holes to keep it from collapsing. It held about 5 gallons during stress testing before I chickened out. And the poles are bored almost 2 feet into the ground in case of wind. The plastic sheet should detach from 3 of the sides of the wind gets too intense, but it hopefully should hold up to prolonged water weight. I have a pole I may stick in the middle to tent it up, just have to dial in the right height. I’m mainly hoping it will hold up the rest of this season, it was only about $20 to build so if it protects this grow then I’ll be absolutely thrilled, especially after losing my 3 farthest along to mold :(

Have you looked at your plants today?
Yes, no signs of bud rot in the remaining late flowerers, hoping I’m not just missing it. Did see something weird on a bud under a microscope, but I couldn’t find it again so I’m hoping the h2o2 will help prevent any fungi issues. I have noticed more patina on the Chemdawg as well as AK2, I’m not sure if the h2o2 I was using was too concentrated or too often, or maybe it’s totally unrelated. Otherwise everyone seems happy. Chemdawg was seriously praying today, but had some curling up on a few leaves as well. She didn’t smell too strongly when I moved her under the rain shelter tonight.

I haven’t used the bt in awhile. Caterpillars were terrible for a bit and using that definitely helped, with any luck they will not cause issues the rest of the flower. I may use it one more time before harvest, they leave an awful mess inside buds, but I’ve got my fingers crossed that the h2o2 will prevent any fungi growing on their poo.
Come on harvest, hurry up lol

Yup the best place to spray is in between the buds. This will help make sure it hits all the best known spots for the rot.

SODK she’s amazing

Pulled a small bud off AK1 today, out of an abundance of caution. She had a small wound on one stem, it was probably healing fine but once bit twice shy. Bud got a peroxide bath at around 1% and then rinse and hung to dry. She’s really smelly.

Finally Chemdawg. She’s so dynamic, everyday she smells totally different. Excited to see where she ends up. I spot checked everyone for rot symptoms, found a few caterpillars but no signs of mold yet. Fingers crossed really hard. Hurry up harvest day.
