New Grower First Grow: Organic: Dinafem White Widow, Roadrunner, Critical+2.0 (All Autos)

Hi mate
Looks like your babies are doing ok even with your temp problem you mentioned. I'm also doing 2x dinafem critical 2.0 along with my blue amnesia and I've noticed that they are growing slightly smaller than their BA sisters but still producing a funky fresh smell and look good. Mine are only at 22 days now.

Good luck and happy growing:Growing:

Hi All,

Day 16/17

I fed them with 3ml/L of GOBioRoot and 2,5ml/L of GOBioThriveGrow for the first time.

Here are some pics

I think they are on the right track but they would be bigger.

By the way;
I've sprinkled some crushed egg shells on top of soil,
Giving them some CO2 from a DIY yeast generator (you can see the little hose at 3rd pic),
Oxygenating the water with a pump and DIY airstone out of chopstick before watering plants,
and made an DIY extra reservoir for humidifier (but it is hard to stabilise the drip rate)..

It looks like I'm giving a try to every random thought..:) But I do not think it will hurt them anyway..

Hi Kato13,

Subscribed to your journal. I'll be watching those criticals. Thanks.

Hi guys, I guess I need your help :help:

Just finished the 3rd week after breaking the soil..
Watered them with 7.1 PH, bottled water, 0.75 lt per plant.
With 3ml/L BioRoot and 7ml/L BioGrow nutes

I can see some pistils, isn't that early? I guess it indicates a low yield, is it?
Do you define a deficiency by the looks of the leaves? and purpleish stem..?

Do you think they are healthy?
Are they big enough? They look stunted to me..

Thanks for help guys..

Hi, pisadres :) They do seem small for 3 weeks, but overall healthy looking, from your pics. Are you adjusting the pH of your water/nutes, or is the liquid going in at 7.1? If it is, you should adjust the pH down, after mixing nutes into water, to 6.4-6.5. Part of their small size may be the high pH is not allowing proper nute uptake. Best to you!

Hi Waximus,

Unfortunately I do not adjust the Ph.. I ordered PH meter recently and am about to receive it tomorrow.. I guess I have to get PH down liquid..

Thanks for the help mate.:)

Happy to help, Bro :) You can use distilled vinegar as a pH down additive. I use it all the time, and its cheap! lol You can also use baking soda for pH up, if needed. I tend to use the vinegar/soda in organic grows, and AN's pH up and down for "chemical" nutes, but I've used both with General Hydroponic chem nutes and no issues at all.

Thanks again. I'll usee the vinegar/soda, since I'm going with organics...
I hope my plants will catch up their regular phase..

Be careful with the vinegar i've used it in the past and its only a sort term solution long time use effects plants negatively even when used as little as possible, lemon juice is another alternative but just like vinegar can damage plants after a while. try looking for some organic nutes that lower ph would be your best bet

Hi Qupid,

Actually I've used a small amount of lemon juice 2 previous watering but I'm not sure if the amount was adequate or if it is the real cause of my current problems.
I guess the first thing needs to be done is to determine the current PH and then take action if necessary.

Thanks for the help.:)
