New Grower First Grow Newbie! 4X4 RDWC LED CBD

Can I vote to leave them alone again? LOL

Not saying you can’t take some leaves in a week or two but for now I vote leave them alone.

It can be helpful to update plants age in weeks as you go along in your thread. I don’t count days but try to know what week I’m in. I’m not sure if everyone knows you are approaching week 5, I think.

You’ve had a few stresses to the plants so far.
Late transplant into DWC, already had lots of roots coming out of the cube can cause issues with taproot.
The brown slime issue that sorted itself, I think.
And you just topped them.

I’m not trying to be the pessimist. Just will be really tough to figure out what to change at the end to improve your next grow or decide what may have been a yield contributing factor. Sit back relax and let them grow IMHO. The one great skill that I think all the master growers here ( not me) have continually repeated is........ patience. Teach yourself that early in and you’ll be the best grower you can be much quicker.

Good vibes and keep up the good work.

Hahaha yeah dude you absolutely can, and I do agree with you...

Its Thursday morning here... I'll leave them alone till Sunday afternoon when I do a res change.

And yes sorry about the daily spam! Yes that's correct- this is just into week 5, well done ;-) even I had to go back and check!
I'll leave updates to the weekly res changes.

I can't even spell patience! It's one of my (many) flaws, but if anything, this hobby is definitely going to teach me...

Peace dude!

Love the enthusiasm but every bit of training topping etc does slow them down slightly even when healthy, as your in week 5 now you've probably got another 2 weeks max until pistils so I would leave them now to do there thing and recover from previous issues

Personally I would drop
Listen to them Matt. They know what they’re talking about. [emoji1360]

The soil one looks pretty fucked atm tho bud. I’d lift it out of that soil and stick it in some new stuff with the right pH.

Unusually warm in your town atm isn’t it? (For the time of year)
Well @Frenjamin Banklin does anyway :yoinks:

Okay Chro, understood. I will leave them be and nurture them with love and kisses right up until a happy and healthy (and huge!) harvest. [emoji847]

You're the one always leading me astray, Vladdy! [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

They're my angels and you're my devil...

Definitely need to get the soil one fixed ASAP, just been in hospital the last 24 hours so a bit behind with everything, work, life, etc.

Well this morning was 1.3°c when I went out around 6am with the dogs, but it should get to around 22°c. Cold mornings - standard winter, but unusually mild and pleasant days, shorts and tees kinda shit...

QUESTION - How would all of you feel if I took one or two detailed pictures of each plant, and asked for some feedback on defoliation and/or further trimming/topping/training of the ladies?

Environment is sweet now, save for the lady in the dirt...

Maybe it can even be done from today's daily update pictures? Thanks!

PS. Apologies to those of you that are on both AFN and GC, and probably see my dual posts

Have to agree with the other lads on this. They've already had a lot of stress. I thought I saw some preflower on one of your girls so the clock is ticking. They'll be wanting to stretch soon so let them get on with it. After they have stretched for a week or two you might want consider a bit of LST if they need it. The girls look about 3 weeks but I'm sure they are older. So they are a bit behind already. Anything you do that slows them down will have an effect on the yield. Don't try to control too much. Observe the plant through its life cycle for first couple of grows to get a "feel" for the plant. And remember, as tempting as it may be, NO SQUEEZING THE BUDS.:crying::crying: Just my 2 cents

I'd try a good flush first. It used to sort things out when I grew in mud. I'd use plain tap water - 5-10 liters per gal of pot size. Let the pot drain for 2-3 hours, then add a dose of nutes ph'ed to the correct value. Don't water/feed till the pot is getting dry. This was only a couple of days for me, but I used airpots, so it my take a bit longer with these pots.
