New Grower First grow ever. Will keep updated regularly. Feel free to tag along

Researching this one, but watering from seedlings is like an art, once start getting established stem, instead of pouring water or feed at base of stem of plant, start getttimg away from stem and pour water around plant, getting those roots to spread out and search for the water source. Once old enough then can start filling while too of medium. That might help build bigger roots system. Big roots = big plants

I didn’t forget about ya GrowBro, just trying to figure out how to put this into words easy
See I think I underwatered. It's hard when it's in the final pot. Thinking about transplanting this grow so that things can get going in a smaller cup. Idk though transplant shock at week two or so would not be good.

I am super busy this week. Hence why I have been afk there a lot. Coming up on midterms for summer session and got a lot of stuff going on because of that

Np, final pot is kinda weird, but just start close to little plant with water and work your way out slowly, that will help with spreading the roots.

And since not putting water directly on base of stems a lot, also reduces the risk of stem rot at soil level.
See the hard part for.me is quantity of water. Because I think I stunted growth by not watering to minimal runoff till after the stretch had stopped. I know if I water to runoff a seedling it will never use all the water. Haha I went conservative past grow and I think that shot me in the foot

Yea seedlings don’t need run off, but rather ya wanna baby them roll established. Around seed keep moist but as she gets older, let’s say 3 and 4th node, can start upping the water. You will notice a big difference in weight of pot once she starts drinking. Just when little just gotta take a little TLC and that’s pretty much it. Think of it this way, ya want the plant to do well, but instead of thinking of plants at this stage, think more about establishing the roots, how do I get them to search for water source, how do I get them to spread out, and drop into the pot the fastest?

Bottom feeding yo, incite them roots to dig down quicker!
In that system yes that would work, some home DIY wick systems I have seen work (to much tinkering for me though, since I already tinker enough lol)
