Day 50:

Both are frosting up and getting fat, here we go!

Cheese:

I'm going to guess she's going to go past 70 days, a little behind her sister

Stress Killer:

Started her on overdrive at 1ml per liter on day 47 I'll probably start feeding overdrive to her sister tomorrow.

I ordered from Seedsman during their 4/20 sale on the 17th and got them today, pretty quick shipping from overseas... Also paid in bitcoin too my order of 6 seeds turned into 24 including all the freebies!! I always smile seeing all the different stealth packing methods.

Got two photoperiods maybe I'll do an outdoor grow since it's the perfect time to start one. But now the real dilemma is what to grow next in my tent.... Thinking Haze CBD and Sour Bubbly.

Ladies look good as always and the next generation of seeds you got going look good as well. My last Seedsman order they declared the value at 7.99 and said it was a car microfiber towel. I was like who the hell would believe that!? To be fair, when I opened the package it was indeed a microfiber towel that hid all the seeds!

I'm excited for your Mephisto and FastBud seeds, oh and also that Auto WW from Seedsman is doing me proud so far. It's the # 4 plant I am growing for fun! Cheers!

Always appreciate the support @NugNoob, thank you man I think I may try to squeeze three in the tent for my next grow, Dinafem Mephisto and FastBuds: an all-star grow for sure.

Day 52:

Cheese: looking great, the funk has given way to a very nice bubblegum scent. Will start overdrive with next feeding.

Stress Killer:

Great sativa sweet lemon pine smell, probably my favorite scent of weed. Dropped the light down to twelve inches, pushing her to finish strong.

Day 56:

Getting real close to harvest... Amazing that I've come this far. Also amazed it took me so long to get here... I've been smoking for over 10 years now I'm finally going to complete my first grow! I've done some pruning and snipped some of the bottom buds and leaves off of both of them. They're getting around 1.5 liters of water a day.

Cheese:

Started her on overdrive, she's slowly packing the weight on. A sourness has started to come through

Stress Killer:

There's a pungent diesel aroma coming off her now. She's getting close, very close to finishing. Not sure when I should start flushing. I want this to be my daytime strain so no couchlock wanted but this strain has high CBD... The ratio of amber to cloudy I want for CBD strains is unknown to me for now.

As you can see they're just starting to turn. I think I might actually start flushing with tonight or tomorrow's feeding.

She's showing her sex but still pretty small

Day 60:

We made it to 60 folks girls are looking good I'm trying to get an area ready for drying them the conditions here are not ideal. I'll have to figure something out soon. But anyways it's almost harvest time!! They're not monsters but they're my own and that makes me so happy.

Cheese:

Buds are getting much bigger, I've lowered her light to 15 inches barely any amber trichs on her. Probably going to go for the balanced high for her. She's a frosty one she now has a blueberry scent.

Stress Killer:

So I started her flush on Tuesday. Her buds are still getting bigger. Her light is at 16 inches... been second guessing if I did it too early or whatever but this is what growing is about - gaining experience and intuition. I'm aiming for 10% or less amber for her. Goimg to go for the full 2 weeks, minimum 10 days. I've learned a lot about growing and now that I'm at the flushing/drying/curing stage I need to learn all about this stuff!

Day 64:

Getting closer and closer to harvest... The smells and sights are amazing!

Cheese:

It looks like she's ripening faster than her sister and I haven't started the flush yet so this gives me the option to do some experiments. I'm going to just taper off my feed and only give plain water for a day or two at the end and see how she smokes. The only way I'll know for sure what flushing does is if I do some trials. From my research the smoothness all comes down to the cure. We'll see! Other than that I just drool looking at her, the buds are really packing weight now!

Stress Killer:

Just plain water, still looking green. It started raining here in SoCal... The lower temps have brought out a purple tint on some of the buds! The breeder's info on this strain is 11 weeks so I might have actually flushed her too early. I may start her up on some light dose nutes for a day or two to keep her going. She still wants to grow.

Nice dude and I agree, let her grow a little more if she wants to. That way you'll get the most yield and the best that the yield has to offer for potency, flavor, etc.

Looking good still my man, keep that thumb green and strong. Nice job!
:chimp:

Day 68:

Mini update... It looks like cheese will be the first one to finish. Going to chop her down in a week or so. Stress Killer has been put through a lot this grow... apparently that new growth is a sign of stress called foxtailing. I've since given her her own fan, raised up her light and opened up my tent in the closet. It really helps that my closet is white on the inside. This has helped with temps and humidity a lot but bye bye stealth my room smells lol

This wall closet is amazing now I have much more space and airflow. I plan to grow three for my next grow so this is perfect

Stress Killer:

Thought she'd be done at 70, but I'm thinking maybe a week or two more and all that new growth will develop nicely. Going to keep an eye out for amber though. Might give her half strength nutes tonight.

Day 70:

Week 10! We made it to week ten.... I am very pleased with my plants. Harvest day is coming!!

Cheese:

Looks like she's finally stopped fattening up. Trichomes are mostly clear/cloudy still... Could be any day now.

Stress Killer:

So I was looking in to this whole foxtailing thing and while it can be heat or light stress related it could be genetic too and I'm thinking mine falls into the genetic category. It's more apparent on sativa strains particularly haze genetics which is one of the parents of this plant. The fact that the new bud growth is popping up even on the bottom parts is letting me know that this was probably bound to happen and there was nothing I could do to stop it. So two more weeks maybe I'm guessing for her. The new growth is filling out nicely... I'm seeing it as a second growth spurt!
