Whoops. Maybe a little too rootin-tootin with the nutes. (Had a basic 2-1-1, seemed okay but then last night the tips were lookin' a lil' charred)

Other than that, still vegging and preflowering away. Plant on the right's winning the race to the ceiling. The other one's crawling but putting on PF's everywhere so I'm not going to stress it. What's funny is that despite trying to keep the lights 2" away from the leaves, the one on the right's just a stretch-fiend.

Looking good. I can see the bit of nute burn. Just some plain water next feed and they should be fine.

hello , don t smoke it now , it is ridiculous, the level of cannabinoides is very low ... wait 25 days and it will be done !!

beautiful plants , for 35 days old !

Day 40 (Sorry, been slow to update)

So I've been out of town again. Left the pre-ferted, ph'd water out for wifey to feed on Tues. And yes, I must have said a dozen times, "Just water right into the soil, don't let it get the leaves."

Apparently her love of home botany is unlike mine because a good half dozen leaves were scorched along the bottom two internodes. They weren't doing much and obviously with the CFL's they weren't getting much light, but still. Damn.

Despite being 6" shorter, Leftie is putting on a sick amount of flowers, much more densely. The right's holding her own, though. Can't wait for the chop so I can do this again and not suffer the disgrace of posting nute-burned leaves here. :/

Hey, while we're here - I've got a 300W 8U 2700K CFL and several supplemental 42W 2700K CFL's ready to install. I've been going 24/0 with the 6500's and am wondering how to switch over.

Better to move to something less aggro? 18/6? And should I slowly switch in the red-band lights or just say 'eff it' and flop em in?

You're getting to the point in their growth where you should be seeing the vertical growth starting to slow and stop. As soon as it stops, just go ahead and make the switch on the bulbs. No need to reduce the time, just stay on the same schedule. Switch to veg nutes at the same time.

I like to keep the lower part of my plants pretty clean. I remove any leaves that are close to, or touching the soil. They only end up getting messy anyway as it's hard to keep the water off them when feeding. I also remove any popcorn buds on the bottom, near the main stem. They never amount to much anyway.

Cheers, Muddy. Thanks for all the tech support, bruv! The girls thank you, too.

Looks like vertical height has all but stopped on the eve of week 6, so I'm going to flip over to the blooming bulbs this week. Bigger plant is just about 24"/50cm, shorty is about 18"/38cm. The flowers are popping up ALL over these things. I've got a couple of quicktimes of the ladies, but don't know of a good anonymous video hosting service - any recommends?
