Indoor First grow - Autoseeds Dream Berry & Auto Pounder

See, that's interesting. I was under the impression that topping/supercropping/etc was a no-no for autos due to their supposedly having less time to recover, but at the same time, I see that people seem to be doing it more and more with good results. Must..investigate..further...

I will find some info for you,or maybe someone can chime in..I dont use it cause i open grow for temp control..but at higher temps,90-95(i think) and a saturation level of 1500 ppm of c02 the plants would explode with growth ( assuming all else is good).. be right back

Interesting! Again, like HST, I've heard a bit about it, but haven't been able to really dive in much. Thanks for the info!

My experience with HS training is that if you dont over do it they will not slow down,i mainlined an auto successfully and this required 7 toppings at three different times..

Question for those more experienced - how much should I be watering at this point? I planted my germinated beans in their pots yesterday and dribbled a bit of water overtop after covering em up with dirt. I misted them a bit a few hours later before bed as well.

I checked them about an hour ago shortly after the lights came on again and re-misted to the point that the entire of the soil surface was darkened, with a bit more in the center where the seeds are. Am I giving them enough water, or should I go a little heavier? The peat/perlite mix that I'm using to top the kind soil seems pretty dry in general, so I wanna make sure I'm not leaving my ladies parched.

@Ripper , @912GreenSkell , @budelee , @arty zan ?

Thanks!

Hmm I would hate to give you improper watering advice as the conditions I am used to are extremely dry. I have to give my lil' 100 sprays twice daily or they dry out in the early sprouting phase. I should note I don't presoak my medium.

No, man - I'll take any advice you can give. Based on your 100-sprays method, I might wanna kick up what I've been doing - just kinda lightly soaked the spots over the seeds themselves last night, and the spritz I gave em earlier today was heavier, but not by much. I'm just hesitant to pour any water directly over 'em quite yet, you know?

Anyway, good looking out man, as usual. Much obliged! :pass:
