Thanks! Monsters would be nice, but I'll be happy to get 'em through to the end without too much hassle, lol. No nutes other than the Kind Soil. The "just water it, dummy" approach really appeals to me, at least at this stage of my experience. I do have some Mammoth P that I'll be adding to my water once the plants get themselves established though, just to help boost the bacteria in the soil a little bit.

I'm actually debating LST'ing these two, and letting them grow natural just to see what kinda height/shape they take. Hmm..

Lol. Getting a little weird in here...About time!

If I do decide to LST, when would y'all recommend I start? I'm pretty comfortable with the theory/technique, just not clear on the when...

Just rolled thru ur journal, with 2-300 mars you have enough light to do anything you want,i didnt see any mention of fans/air exchange to help control the heat,if you added some c02 even from the small bags, they would benefit from the higher temps..jus a thought..

I've got a 6" 260 CFM inline fan (not my first choice, but seems to be working fine) hooked to a 4x12 200cfm Phresh filter run through a speed controller. Seems to be working alright so far. Passive intake - one of the three rectangular bottom vents is open, with the humidifier set up nearby. I went to peek about half an hour ago, and the temps at plant level were 70, with 66% humidity so hopefully I'm on the right track.

Tell me more about the c02/higher temps, or point me towards some reading on it, if you don't mind?

Start lst as early as possible, all your trying to do is break the apical dominance so the side branches grow bigger/faster..HST 3-5 nodes if you are ready for it,,a suggestion would be to try an LST and an HST and see which style you like better, both will require a bit of maintenance training along the way..you could check the link in my sig for most training styles,i like HST /topping the best for height control..i was just getting pics for the skywalker journal.I try for an even canopy without a scrog net

I will find some info for you,or maybe someone can chime in..I dont use it cause i open grow for temp control..but at higher temps,90-95(i think) and a saturation level of 1500 ppm of c02 the plants would explode with growth ( assuming all else is good).. be right back
