New Grower First auto run of the year!

So for anyone still following along I decided to FIM two of my three plants today. The half eaten plant is showing signs of great growth, so I fimmed her, as well as the really twisted one. I decided to leave the best looking one alone, and will just do some LST on her.

It will be interesting to see how they respond to fim :eek1:

Yea, I am hoping they respond well. That's why I decided to leave the best looking one alone. In the event I stunt these two even more, I should still have a nice plant with the one I left alone.

If my coco peat blend says it has been buffered to 6.3 to 6.8, does that mean my feed water should be within that range? Just trying to figure out what my water pH should be.

The numbers I see for coco is 5.9 to 6.3. I grow in peat/perlite and I go between 6.2 and 6.5. That is why i remember coco being a bit lower than for peat.

Right, just wondering if the lower range is for coco that is not buffered

A compromise maybe around 6.2 -6.3? Kinda the top of coco and the bottom of peat

Nice. Be sure to post pictures of the new growth

Here is my update. My toof decay is super weird looking, I accidentally ripped two nodes off my northern cheese haze, and my other one is doing better (my dog ate half of it 1.5 weeks ago)

The toof decay might have some root issues. What's the moisture like at the bottom of the container?

My pots are not drying out as fast as I would have thought. The tops of the pots are drying out, but the middle and bottom are staying moist. I'm assuming it's the peat that's retaining the water. I have also been pHing my water too low, as this is buffered to 6.3 to 6.8 range. I was closer to the 5.9 / 6.0 range. I have corrected this, but I haven't watered in 3 days and my pots are still heavy as of last night. I need to go check them this morning.
