all of them have received nutes and water adjusted to 6.3-.6.5 water and nutes. I did some flushing with 6.5 water and measured the run off @ 5.5 and help is greatly appreciated. here are the rest:

you have to bare in mind that if you put your feed in at 6.5 your run off will not be the same!! so therfore you will have ph problems. If your run off is 5.5 try putting in 7.0 and see what the run off comes back at mate :peace: Si

Your runoff ph is to low. Add some dolomite lime or add some ph up to your water until the runoff is 6.3 or 6.4.

thats what i had to do my ph run off was as low as 5.3 and i added garden lime and ajusted my feed to 6.8-7.0 and now run off is between 6.2-6.3 :peace: Si

Thanks namvet, and si for the quick reply, I have flushed them with 7.0, then 7.5 then one plant i flushed @ 10 and every time the run off comes in at 5.2, the 10.0 flush got me to 5.6. my soil less mix has a large amount of dolomite should i add more? also contemplating hydrated lime. thank you so much for your help!

i read that i dont wanna go more than .5 pH a day so since i was able to get about .4 out of the one im going to leave it well alone for the day and try again tomorrow. :smoke:

What kind of nutes are you using? If they are organic you don't have to worry about ph as much.Lime does take some time to work so if you add more it might take a week or more to change. Also you can use cal-mag from a grow store that works well.:smokebuds:

i am use the trio of trio's fox farms line. went to the grow shop today, guy told me not to buy anything and to lower my ph to 6.3 in my solution and not worry about run off. he seems knowledgable, but i am naive, i just dont see why a salesman would not force a sale on me and turn me away if the advice is not sound, so i ask does this sound like it could be correct?

Day 31: Maybe its the HPS maybe im a little too critical, plants seem to be doing well outside of the light, some small issues that im still not sure what it is, but the are looking big. without anymore fluff pics... :toke:

They look like happy plants bro :smokebuds:

yes they look pretty good... i see some yellowing starting up 1 or 2 but thats correctable....

you should hold a ph of 6.3 - 6.5 in soil mediums...

it never hurts to have ph up and down around... though there are many other options to perform ph buffering... have a look in here for additional info on ph and plant deficiencies... :

here's some charts to help ya... :

and heres a link to how to manage pictures a little better so we can see em easier... nice ics and plants should be shared as best as possible... hehe... hint hint..
