The girls are doing their thang! They are bulking up, doing their last bit of stretching and really filling the place out! I added another fan, an ac infinity D4 4” its pretty nice. Plants are stoked for more wind! The difference between the two phenos is getting bigger everyday! Im really enjoying this grow!

Hey KingRatt, I noticed you trim those larger leaves down instead of taking them off completely. I havn't tried that before, I assume this technique stresses the plant less while still retaining some part of the solar panels? Is it to help with humidity in the tent or to expose lower bud sites for get more light penetration down in there?

Its so the leaves cast less of a shadow but can still photosynthsize light. Basically to expose budsites and still keep working, i will eventually get to taking them off probably, defoliation is a constant when you scrog. I try to keep the leaves as long as possible. I have a method kind of where i start by taking the third leaf down from the top on each branch, as they grow new leaves i will trim the second pair a few days after removing the set from under, if that makes sense lol. It lets me keep the leaves on the plants a little longer and keeps me from having to take as much at a time. I feel like the plant doesnt get hit as hard each time. As im not in hydro, i cannot afford amy down time recovering from stress!

Cool! Thanks for explaining that for me! I absolutely agree with you there on avoiding down time recovering from stress. Your canopy is looking stunning my friend!

Same technique is pretty common when taking clones as well, less transpiration so the plants save their energy and use it for root growth!

Plants are growing like crazy and defol is daily, with a weekly heavy defol! Just trying to keep bud sites exposed to light and leave enough breathing room, because we all like to breath! Everything is doing good! These girls like to feed that is for sure! These might be some of the easiest plants ive ever grown, so far! They have taken everything i threw at them without skipping a beat! We will see how the next 5-6 weeks turn out! Hopefully its all smooth sailing from here on out!

These girls love life! Super easy sailing so far, frost and buds are stacking and im pretty sure all stretching has ended. Staying on top of defoliation and keeping em watered/fed. Im pushing the nutes and you can see it in the tips of the leaves so will dial it back a bit next feeding
