hello all this is my first grow and my first post. I have 5 white dwarf in 3 gallon pots. I am using sunshine mix number 4 fox farm nutes. i am using a hps 1000 watt dim able ballast @ 420 watt setting in a 4x4x6.5 tent. i am on day 20. when should I crank up the wattage? 3 of them are showing sex. thanks for having a look!

Hello m8 I grew a couple of white dwarf last year mucho crystals lol good smoke id wait a week before I cranked it up but thats up to you looking good bruv
I think im only gonna step it up to 630 cause its the dead of summer and the tent is running a little warm.

The White Dwarf is a great strain, very resilient and easy to grow. The last one I grew was outside and it did great with the heat and also pests would stay away typically. Good knockdown bud is the general consensus with my friends.
As far as the heat goes, if it stays in the 2 digit reading (if you're Fahrenheit) it should be fine if you can keep the room exhausted efficiently.

Surffreak thanks for sharing your experience thats very encouraging! my tent in the dead of summer runs about 86f @ 420 watts, 92f @ 600-630 watts and 94-98F @ 1000-1040watts. I have a 6" 400cfm exhaust fan, using passive intake right now but i do have a 240 cfm 6inch i can use as a intake.
Day 21 in the garden 4 of the 5 are now showing extremely long pistils, unfortunately my cellphone camera wont focus that close. also please excuse the white balance. soon i will take some proper photos but for now my cellphone cam will have to do.:thumbs:

Thanks for this and they look great. I'll be growing White Dwarf soon as well so I'll be popping back to see how your plants are doing. 
day 22 all five appear to be showing their female parts. some spots on a few leaves not sure what's going on there. they got nutes again today @ 1/4 dosage. thanks for having a look. cheers!

Here is the amended nute sheet i created based on the fox farm chart @ 1/4 dosage then moving up to 50% does that sound about right?
