FD's Guide to Growing Hefty Autos in Small Places.

Ok guys i have been dragging my knuckles on this for too long. This thread will be dedicated to my actual grow technique. I will have everything in here from the way i germ seeds to the way i harvest and everything in between.

ill cover my soil mixes, teas, water adjustments, feeding schedules as well as the recipes for the soil and teas that i use. My goal is to teach how to grow the bud lumps you see in the small pots i use. I feel if you use this you may have the same success that i do when it comes to autos in small places.

Bare with me as i will update this on the regular, but will be locking it to get it all organized.

question about your feeding schedule
i use FFOF so i assume i would want to dilute your strengths a bit ????

now it says

1. pH water only
1.5 add in big bloom to the mix at 1/2 tspn
2 1/2tsp Grow Big 1/2 tsp Big Bloom

when does week 1 officially start ? they dont need anyhitng for the first 10 days after breaking soil correct.. so i assume this schedule starts around day 15 ?

1 i give it pH water.. now 1.5 <is this 3 days later and 2 is 3 days after that ?>
2 is 1 gallon of water 1/4 tsp grow big and 1/4 tsp big bloom.
If this is correct ill be giving a gallon every 3 days that seems like over watering to me.. i sssume its this way fgor you because you use so much perlite and such corrrect ?
maybe ill take my 1 gallon and split it between 4 plants for about 10 days and then just give each 1/2 gallon for 10 days.. then after they get much bigger they will get the whole gallon.

sorry for so many questions but i want to try to do this a neat and clean and controlled as i can. we dont have central heat and air so i have to adjust alot for the temps to remain at 72-80
whats a safe temperature to not be to hot.?

So im thinking 20X5 gallon buckets of FFOF. the entire fox farm nute line and 20 Nirvana Auto Northern lights under a 600mh a 600hps and a 400hps. how much yield you guys think i could expect ? im shooting for a pound and a half..
think this is realistic ? should i keep the lights staggered mh/hps or or what combo should i put in there.. i have hps/mh lights of all wattages so any combo is doable
anything special you guys think i should due to maximize yield ?
by the way this is a dumb question its got to be and im sorry but how do i keep the water cool and aireate at the same time ?
think i should LST ?
is 1600 watts enough for 20 plants ? i also have 2 90 watt LED Pro Source MotherKeepers.. they put off a blue spectrum but i was told thier strictly for mothers and would not veg plants correctly ? < think it would be ok for supplemental light ?

im sorry :( i thought since some of my questions pertained to his method that i should post on his thread ? was this wrong ? very sorry again.

my grow rooms stays about 79 degrees... this usually suffices just fine.. seeing as i have multiple tens in a single room i just keep the main light out for a few days for darklness but ti still stays warm

Thank you so much for your help, i really apreciate it. So a warm room with no light will do the job. Thanks again Sultan of Sticky

Wanted to come in here and knock the dust off this thread. I see that there have been a lot of people keeping this alive and that i appreciate.

Soon to come will be updates on new simple ideas and technique as well as new feeds and new simple soil mixes that will maximize results.
I had a summer to play with massive amounts of soil and a little bit if land so i got to test some things now just time to apply it to my favorite plant.

Here are some results from this past season

Most of the ground cover you see is not weeds or bad growth, its vine from sweet potatoes that were amazing....
