FD's Guide to Growing Hefty Autos in Small Places.

Ok guys i have been dragging my knuckles on this for too long. This thread will be dedicated to my actual grow technique. I will have everything in here from the way i germ seeds to the way i harvest and everything in between.

ill cover my soil mixes, teas, water adjustments, feeding schedules as well as the recipes for the soil and teas that i use. My goal is to teach how to grow the bud lumps you see in the small pots i use. I feel if you use this you may have the same success that i do when it comes to autos in small places.

Bare with me as i will update this on the regular, but will be locking it to get it all organized.

awesome and feel free to post it in here, i want others to bring them too always good to see the results.

and my soil is very light 8qt bag of perlite in 50 lb bag makes for light soil

I would like to show proof that
this system works.
I mixed this load of soil early
this summer.
here is a pic of a harvested plant,
hung out to dry.
the Auto Assassin in the black pot
is around 40 days
the other 2 ICU#6 are at 11 weeks
today.
and a 30 day old plant from a seed
found in a RBB bud.

the soil and feeding schedule
are taken and followed directly
from this thread.

light hours are dawn to dusk..
about 10 hours a day
lighting is t8 4 foot 4 bulb 128w
6500k
this grow is in a shed, out back
of my house.

Thats your plant with only 10 hrs of daylight a day?

yessir sunrise was 7:30 AM...lights on
.........sunset was 5:35 PM...lights out
for security reasons i can only run lights
during daylight hours
so light hours are down to about 10 hours per day

honestly..this system works...
the tiering was done with these also
i used some jiffy pots that were handy
and a couple odd cups...
you can't see a tiered planting with the
RBB because the cup split when i tried
to use it like a dibble to make a hole
in the smart pot

Wow if it looks like that with only 10hrs cant wait to see what mine will look like on 20/4 with FD's method.

FD, is it ok if I have the water aerated without nutes inthere. I have plants with different ages so I cant mix only one batch of water. I plan to have a rubbermaid filled with water being aerated 24/7 and when i want to feed I will just place the watering can inside the rubbermaid to fill it up. Then mix nutes inside the watering can. Will I still have the o2 benefits?

yeah the nutes dont have to be in there at all and you can add them at will, i would always keep 3 or 4 jugs going at once.
the water is what holds the o2 the nutes just get a good blend in there if left to sit a bit.

When you say jugs do you have a seperate pump and waterstone for each jug? Do you mind posting a pic? I've never done hydro so the airpump and water stone will be a first time purchase for me

I love this thread. First time grower here. Will try to stay as close to your approach as possible. I will have to make some compromises regarding soil though...

I use a small bubble stone at the end of mine just to keep the noise down. They will be fine with out one. I ran mine with out stones for a good year and still had the same results. Usually at about 24hrs the water is saturated, if its colder than it may take longer as cold water can store more o2 in it than warmer water.

im confused if its colder then wouldnt it take a shorter amount of time ,if cold water holds more o2

If there's more o2 to be put in the water it makes sense that it would a take longer time. Since the o2 output will be constant.
