good morning @Blalack55

the age old question is my plants ready... auto's are the same as photo that the trichome's will turn from clear to milky white then to amber. But not all plants will have the amber, a lot do but not all... what I look for is to see all the trics cloudy then I give it a few more days to see if any amber turns up then chop. I also take note at what state the plant is in, there is look to a finished plant, colour change, no white hairs, buds look like they will burst with swollen calyx etc etc. They just start to tell you I'm finishing... but still, go by the tric's because that will determine the psychoactive effect.

By the look of those pics and I'm super guessing here, it look like you are near all cloudy, think I can see some clear... but that is a pure guess... ( you need to see if you can get a macro lens for your phone or a USB micro scope...both real cheap and worth every penny to see if your girls are ready)... It does look like you coming to the end fast, never go by what the breeder says, that's just a average rule of thumb. Tricky to say how long as don't know the strain and your environment (that's another factor that can speed or slow thing down)... I would wait until all the hairs have turned brown, take her in to week 10 maybe 11 like the breed has suggested.

Another tip, when looking at the trics go by the ones on the calyx's and not by the ones on the little leaves... you will find the trichome's on the leaves will act different form the one's on the calyx's. They will turn milky / amber quite early throwing you off your spot on harvest time.

your very close dude, hang in there for that little bit longer and she will swell that little bit more and move into more of a heavy stone.... looking real good my man!

Awesome thanks for the info! I keep hearing about the macro lens I'm going to look for one today, I thought they were only for cameras not the phones cameras so that really helps.

my 2p is two different school of thoughts.recreational smoker looks at trichs.a more medical orientated grower wanting more cbn'd etc. will want mostly amber, why bother to study the trichs up close just wait till the plant is near dead and chop.
lots of variants inbetween personal preference etc. me i like to get stoned upstairs,a single amber trich is my que to get busy.
good luck n keep er lit.

@archie gemmill @Slater I just checked the plant out and I wasn't too sure yesterday but now I'm certain that the plant is having a lot of new bud growth on the bottom of the plant it's hard to tell from the pictures because I couldn't get in the plant enough because because I had to tie the main branch up because the weight of the buds cracked it but I am going to do a perpetual cut now after seeing this

yep i can see the fresh ish hairs.a 2,3,4,5,6 stage harvest is a good idea to get the most from the plant,or to experience early, middle, late cuts.most folk dont have the time and energy and chop in one go.
keep er lit.
