yep i can see the fresh ish hairs.a 2,3,4,5,6 stage harvest is a good idea to get the most from the plant,or to experience early,middle,late cuts.most folk dont have the time and energy and chop in one go.

Its crazy I was looking yesterday and thinking like "man that looks fresh like new growth" and today it almost doubled in size so it was a lot more noticeable but yeah I'm definitely not going to rush and like you said a lot of people don't have the time so I'm just trying to get it right

Every day I go back there seems to be a bunch of new white pistols, I don't have a good enough camera or lens to see the trichs but its about 70days in,

@archie gemmill @Slater @Froot n Fuel are the trichs look cloudy to you guys? I tried to get the best pics I could without a macro lens it's at 11 weeks and a lot of leaves are dying off like they do at their lifespan

on the greener areas, they appear more clear and glassy, but over the purples they look cloudy. but you still have those fresh hairs you mentioned last week. has the swelling continued?

I can’t spot any ambers but I’m new at all this so let’s see what the pros have got

think i spied 2 ambers perfect cut it off at the ankles done nonono wait im an eejit and a 4th opinion is needed.im of the early spectrum so wait a week if not more.or could chop the top off nonono wait a week.
are the pics from top/middle/bottom of plant ? i find top usually shows amber first.i still think you have a way to go

Lol yeah I'm definitely excited but no matter what I'm not going to pick early but I been reading that autos flowering is a little different and this is fading heavy and the older fan leaves are dying off but I cant really tell if it's done because like you said some spots look more done than other

Yeah I think I saw a few amber trichs but I'm going to wait another week plus I think the buds are still growing

still tricky to tell from those pics, it could be cloudy / part cloudy or it could be camera shake... when you get your marco lens or usb microscope (a jewelers loop is another handy tool that does the job and dirt cheap) you can see them turn milky over a few days starting at the top of the tricobe and it slowly works it way down. Some plants turn faster, some a lot slower... this is why I'm reluctant to call it. What we could be seeing is part cloudy trics, they look cloudy because we can only make out the top of them
What I would do is like you have said take it another week, keep an eye on those buds and watch that swell or plumping, as it slows / stops your nearly there... Also wait until all the white hairs have turned brown or the majority with the odd few (theres always the odd few)

when I first started out I was the same, not sure when to chop... I just took all my plants to week 11 / 12 or planned to. I soon found a few that finished at mid week 9 through to 10... not had one auto yet to finish at week 8 for me, no matter what the breeders have said, the average has been week 10 with the heavy sativa leaning pheno's some times going 12 - 14wks
