New Grower Equatorial 2.0

Upped the feed to 1g per litre of MC and 0.35 per litre of SC along with my usual additives. PH was around 6.3 and PPM all the way to 880. I feel that they can take it. Diesel might show me some burnt tips but I'm betting that they will be fine.

FYI, I fed Diesel, Purple and Lemon today. Amnesia and SH was fed 2 days ago. So in 4-5 days time, I plan to feed them all at once but at different dosage.

Supercropped several locations on the 3 larger girls. All seems good so far.

Lights at around 24 inches from soil. Around 20 inches for the larger girls. Increased brightness to around 200W. Pretty sure thats the max they can take for now. These QBs are really something!

Sprayed some neem on them and made them a little shiny.

Fed all 5 girls today. Fed Diesel, Lemon and Purple with 1.25g per litre of MC and 0.35g per litre SC along with usual additives. Made little more than 10 litres and fed to a bit of runoff to all 3 gals.

SH and Amnesia received 0.75g per litre MC and 0.25g per litre SC along with usual additives.

When I made the stronger dose for the 3 larger plants...I don't know what i did wrong. PPM was only around 550. I am sure I put in 16grams total of MC + SC. Used warm water to dilute in a glass, and then pour into my 10 litre watering pot. Been doing that all this while. I let it dilute longer than usual too. I suspect either I forgot something or was too stoned.

Regardless, I did not make a new batch. Just fed them anyways. Pretty sure they will live. My first balcony shot of this grow.

If you notice some drooping, thats normal cos I just fed them + I supercropped ALL bud stems that are 1-2 inches long. When they grow some more, usually in a few days, I supercrop them a second time. So most of them are still recovering. I plan to do this to ALL bud sites. Gotta love them knuckles. Might even supercrop them a 3rd or 4th time!

Diesel and Lemon are 32 days old. We all know what I did to Lemon (Broke and ripped off THREE main branches) but I also broke a budsite on Diesel.

Purple is 30 days old and I broke a Main Cola 2 days ago. Bad break with her hanging by only a thin fiber thread. Did not rip her off cos Purple is the prettiest plant at the moment. She has recovered today! Really impressed with Flash Seeds and also RQS cos Diesel is the largest so far.

Lights are at between 19 to 24 inches from canopy and I raised power to 255W or so. The plan is to slowly raise to around 280-300W and then introduce the 3000K board to the 3 larger (already early flowering) plants. This will be within the next week or so.

I plan to use both boards. The 3000K boards will be on top of the 3 older plants in a week or so.

SH and Amnesia will remain under the 4000K boards until they reach week 5-6. Then, I shall break out the pair of full spectrum cobs to shine on them from the sides, at an angle. This should supplement the 4000K boards with enough red to make it more suitable for flowering. The 3 older girls in the back will also get some of these angled full spectrum side lights, albeit much less intense. If it proves to be too much, I can always dim the boards.

Mini update cos I did a major defoliation on the 3 larger girls. We'll see how they take this in conjunction with multiple supercropping, all before reaching Week 5?

Diesel below. Broke another budsite today. I've lost count..

Purple below. Still only a broken main cola but you can't even tell no more. Pretty..pretty plant!

Lemon below. She is smaller only cos I ripped 3 Main Branches off her. I may not be doing this strain/plant any justice. But she is doing as well as the others.

Sour Hound below. Ripped one main branch off her. Growing short but looks healthy enough. Does not seem to mind the intense lights anymore. Don't know what to expect but feeling optimistic.

Amnesia below. Topped yesterday and LSTed today. Looks a little limey green. Hope i did not screw up in pot PH. We'll see

Update again cos its worth updating?

Anyways, we're having a bit of a dry spell lately. Daytime humidity can reach early 40s. This means a few things. Good news for the big girls. They are drying out sooner and I'm feeding on 3rd day after a feed, for the first time in veg. Even in flower, I've only done this once. So naturally very excited.

But its not that good for the younger Amnesia. She has some dead but recovering new growth, so im pretty sure its not nute burn. However, she should be pretty hot and pissed now. I topped/fimmed/trained her all before Day 13. Then...I fed her with 0.75g per litre of MC together with Sour Hound who is 10 days older. I thought i could get away with it but she is darkening upstairs and yellowing downstairs. I really should have just left her alone more.

Dead new growth above. Most likely just my butter fingers breaking something. Won't be surprised at all.

Fed Diesel, Purple and Lemon 1.45g per litre of MC and 0.4g per litre of SC. I expect this to be the highest MC dose I give. Its pretty much around 5.5g per gallon and even Monster auto plants grown by others rarely exceeds this dosage. Next feeding will include 0.13g per litre of Mother Monarch Bloom, while bringing down MC dosage to 1g per litre.

Interesting to note that I've not needed CalMag at all so far.

I look forward to observing the changes. Purple is furthest in flowering. Followed by Diesel and Lemon. Introducing Mother Monarch Bloom (MMB ) to all 3 at same dosage will be interesting, and can help me decide when to best introduce it next time.

I still stubbornly believe that Bud Explosion adds too much K to the MC base. Based on my limited knowledge gained last grow, they need more P than K during early to mid flower. Actually, I get the feeling that they have to be pretty much balanced throughout flowering but thats just me. MMB helps me do that when combined with MC. So lets see what MMB can do?

Below is Diesel and Purple respectively @Day 34 and Day 32, 10 hours after feeding. All seems good.

Lemon is at Day 34, also 10 hours after feeding.

Sour Hound did not get fed but growing very nicely and responding very well with training. Wished i had a healthy seed of this strain to begin with.

Lights are at 300W now and I'll be adding the 3000K board tomorrow. Hopefully, the fans and ratchets i ordered can reach sooner!
