Dutch Passion Dutch Passion Auto Blueberry

Thanks Duggy. This was on the growing plant :( I will just toss it, it was only a small bit anyways and like I said I removed the entire branch so hopefully it was nipped in the bud----pun totally intended!

This was the only branch that was still close to the other branches. All the others have ample air flow I hope....

My bottom buds are small and immature, so I'm going to cut the tope when they're ready and move the plant closer and keep going. Never did it before, but people say they get a lot of bud that way

I did it with this plant and I am never going back.

Love all the people that say to never cut anything off. The bottom third doesn't get any light, and I don't care what they say about the leaves being nute storage areas, there are plenty that get light on the top.

It's a nice problem to have when your budding branches are so large they are bending over (the mould was not nice but lesson learned there too, always make sure they aren't crowded).

Even if I sacrificed some larf I just don't care. I don't smoke enough to miss it, and I know this has increased my yield over what I would have got leaving everything on there.

Edit: You meant "cut them off" and not "cut the top" correct? I do not recommend topping, did that with my Aerogarden plants that I reversed. Worked great when I wasn't worried about yield but I wouldn't suggest it for flower growing. This plant did naturally top itself don't quite know why, didn't have a main cola just split off into four. I think it was in the genetics though, something I never would have done intentionally... Just my two cents ;)

Here is a pic update of the remaining branches. Sorry about the LED, wish like hell I had a way to change out the light without it being a huge deal, and I don't have the money for a camera that will let me manually adjust the white scale so we are stuck with what I have haha!

I meant, when the tops are done, I'm going to cut and cure them, and leave the little ones in the light. Most of my leaves fell off, but I can see the bottom ones still will need more time

I think they call it "staggered harvest" or something like that

Selective harvest is what I have heard it called. And yes, I have never harvested an entire plant at one time.

I think it was in an Ed Rosenthal book I read but the saying "no bud before it's time" always sticks in my head. Take what is ripe and leave the rest.

It makes sense, when you grow tomatoes you don't cut the whole plant down after the first tomato gets red...

Edit: I do still stand by my bottom third removal though, it's been a great learning experience :) I wish you lots of frosty buds!!!!

I pick leaves, I don't remove a lot at one time. When they feel like they're dead and stop responding to feeding, I pick them. Usually, the bottom leaves go first

A few days ago I harvested, it filled a one lb protein container, a 2 lb protein container,
and flour tin.

I want to get it all in one container. Any ideas on what would be best? Is vacuum sealing
a good idea?

Is this fresh? It will dry smaller of course. I just read a thread that said vacuum packing was a good thing, supposed to speed up the curing process. You want to make sure the flowers are damn good and dry before you vacuum seal though. Moldy buds would be devastating after all the hard work and dedication you put into your plants!

The outer buds were dry and starting to shrink. But some of the inner buds still had
a lot of moisture. I need to do something, but I am not sure what. I don't think mold
would grow in a vacuum, but leaving moisture in there is a bad idea. I was thinking
of getting some of those dehydrator packets, the little things you see in a lot of pill bottles.
