So guys, the time has come for my first AF grow! I started germing my seeds on the 9th, and both were cracked when i checked them today! *I decided not to germ my Paki as i am a bit worried about space* I wont be potting untill the 12th, as i still need a few bits and pieces, also want to show everyone my DIY air pots, Ill update soon. My setup can be found here. Id also like to thank everyone for their help over the past few weeks. Especially JD, agito, Auto-snooch, MrNiceSmoke, TshirtNinja, micro.grower and AndyBotwin :thumbs:

Just a quick update, planted both my seeds on Monday the 12th, just waiting for them to sprout now, ill update with some pics when they are about a week old

So i had a massive problem with my tap water's Ph being way to high, about 7.2. So last night i put out a bucket and when i woke this morning (to my surprise) collected just over 6 Litres of Ph perfect (6.5) rainwater luckily i live in a rainy area to feed my ladies for the rest of their lives. Were 2days in and still no sprouts, hoping they will sometime before the weekend.

Shouldn't be long now! I pop mine straight in the pots too and they usually take 4-6 days.

So we got sprouts today I think i will plant my paki after all, nothing a bit of L.S.T cant fix! :booya:

I always germ straight to compo..and I have had them take over a week in the winter..
sometimes I have to put the lights on just to warm the soil up coz my cupboard is outdoor..so Cold.

One interesting thing I was reading the other day said the seed should be germed at PH7..

Haven't tried it out yet..but it makes sense as the higher PH will raise the oxygen levels in the water..and seed needs oxygen..:thumbs:
