New Grower Afghan kush ryder Cfl/LED 1st time grow

Hey thanks joedirt, I feared that I might have actually chosen a container that was too big for the space, the pot was propped up on a load of books so I took a new photo showing how much room my plant has when the pot is resting on the base of the box. would you suggest that I reduce the size of the pot further? i would hate to have to pull the plant if it got too big :/

Ok That looks better! not sure for sure but you might be able to get 2 or three plants in that pot. autos like a deep pot. i believe that the tap root will hit bottom and reduce its growth. so if you put 2 or 3 seeds in there you might get 2 or 3 smaller plants instead of one smaller plant.

I've just completed another AKR grow, it's one of my favourite strains.

I find they like to hit the nutes around day 12, 0.5ml/L and take it up to 4ml/L at the max.

AKR's grow about 8 inches for every litre of soil in the pot up to a maxium of about 30 inches so maybe a 2 or 3 litre pot in your space and then LST it.

Really nice setup there and i have heard stories about AKR knocking people out after toking! Even though i have never grew an AKR but i would love to in the future so i will be checking in on you. Try not to give too much love to your plant because that is where all the mistakes start happening. :tiphat:
