New Grower Duckster's First Adventure

..Hey Need...Pic's are nice. But if your good with words some of these experts on here are surely capable of helping you out if need be..As you can see I'm not and need my photo's...
Thanks :peace:

lol, go for it needforweed, webcam photos would work, i love web cams ,i not prepared too say what use i have used a webcam or webcam pics for , but they are very flattering lmao.

Thanks for the encouragement guys! I think I may be apprehensive because I don't publicly want to be known as a "plant killer" lol, as I have already failed to germ 2 previous beans. I was kind of waiting to get the 2 I got now out of the seedling stage whenever that is.

I've had some beans fail also..But they weren't from a seed Co. They were from some goods I bought from a friend of a friend..I've only try'd 4 from a seed co (single seed co) and and 100% on those pop'd..

Thanks:peace:

Talula is getting bigger. Shegot her first feeding yesterday. ½ ml of ea. in one liter of water.
GH CaliMagic
AN Voodoo Juice
AN pH perfect Grow
AN pH perfect Micro
AN pH perfect Bloom
Ph at 6.6 going in and 6.6 run off

No sign of nute burn today so will probably increase to 1 ml per liter for the next feed. The pot seems fairly dry 3” down so will give her 1 liter ph water tomorrow. Sonya is doing ok

duck, you sure your ph pen is working? ph perfect nutes should automatically adjust ph to round 5.8-6.0. what kind of water you using? maybe the starting ppm is higher than the recommendsed 125. I buy bottled r/o water that has a ppm of round 60 and it adjusts everytime. also what I do is feed once with ph perfect nutes then use the cal mag supplement phd to whatever on the next feeding. that way you no add more ppm to your water so your ph perfect nutes can work properly. that's just how I do though bro. oh and if she looks thirsty, hold off another day..lol best a luck bro

Thanks for the tip Faded. I did not use my tap which is up around 250. I used bottled water but it was a blend of distilled and drinking. Did not even think to measure - newb eh

Talula rocks! and comes back from the dead, its just shows ya pal that these guys know what they are talking about , don't give up on them too soon, i bet its just a nervous a time giving them the first feeds as is waiting for them to pop,

Never gave up on her, but not expecting too much from her either.

I guess the first time for anything is a bit nerve wracking. But the first e was nothing germination.

The rims of the solo cups were making it difficult to water the upper tier. So I did a "inplace transplant". I split the sides of the cups in 3-4 places and slid the pieces of the cup out. Minimal root disturbance. Easier to water now and guess the roots are less constricted.

My soil blend seems to be pretty airy. These 5 gal. air pots (green base) seem to dry out rather quickly. If I pour 1 liter very slowly, I still get about 35-50% runoff. Two days later the soil feels dry 3" down a measures about 3.5 on the accurate 8 dry scale.

A couple of days ago I watered with a garden sprayer (thanks GB) with just a slow light spray. Took about 15 minutes to apply 1 liter but there was almost no runoff. And the pot is still a little damp after two days.

As always, all comments and/or tips are welcomed

Hey pal , you having probs? Would be like the blind leading the blind if I add in, I can only say what is happening my end, I only adding 200 ml ish water at moment and that's in a 2 gallon pot I just watering around the plant base, like in a column ,trappers threads explain this way better than I could ,I ain't trying ta get a run off yet,I know ya dealing with two girls at different ages ,its hard ta grasp what's happening your end.
