Harvest & Curing Drying in a brown bag

i make do pretty well with them and i don't hang dry anything ok if you were taking 5 huge plants down at once maybe that's not the best way

maybe I’ll throw some buds in a bag and try it out
I have a plant hanging at the minute,I’m up to try new things :smoking:

Drying in a brown bag...???
This is one big reason that led me to AFN...

You have no idea how much crap I've taken over doing this even though nobody has heard of it...
But they told me I was ruining my crop because I wet trimmed and dried in a brown bag before curing...

I did my first grow this way and have no plans to change for my 2nd...
About the time I was finished I threw in a little "MacGyver"...
This time I'll do a side by side test with and without the grid...

My grid theory is:
It keeps the buds from taking tastes / smells from direct contact with the paper
It minimizes creating flat spots
It allows the bud to dry more evenly
Buds in direct contact with moist paper bottom will not dry as evenly
Line the bottom of your bag and catch whatever falls through the holes

NOTE: I've changed to 1/2" pvc instead of the wood spacers I had laying around
Thanks for posting some pics I was wondering how this was done,

Can I just leave the bag in a closet,my tent is packed at the minute
yes bro that's why i do it mainly as my tent is always still in use in the pic i just put them in there out the way but you can leave them anywhere in bags and i don't monitor humidity or temps in the room i just let them get on with it and i don't open the bags for the first 3 days besides to give them a little shake daily

Sweet I’ll chop up this big ass kola I have was kinda worried about it being so big And getting mold hanging,
I’m in California it’s pretty hot here but the closet I have the plant hanging stays nice temperature

I've put big chunky fuckers just on there own in bags but I'm in the UK so its completely different weather here, if i was you just keep it to the bottom of the bag, don't stack them and let me know how you get on but if you look at my threads every plant I've ever grown goes in bags

Sounds like a pain in the ass to dry buds in a brown bag,if
You have a big crop you need a shit load of brown bags,if you just line the bottom of the bag with buds
Last harvest I combined 2 bags after a day or so, then combined again, and again... I ended up with over 6 oz in one bag by the time I was ready to jar it...
