Harvest & Curing Drying in a brown bag

I've put big chunky fuckers just on there own in bags but I'm in the UK so its completely different weather here, if i was you just keep it to the bottom of the bag, don't stack them and let me know how you get on but if you look at my threads every plant I've ever grown goes in bags

after3 days in a paper bag not to shabby thanks for the tip

I just did a couple test bags and was surprised at how nice the dry is on the buds.

Similar buds hanging are taking 12 days to dry and I really don't notice a difference. I kept the temps between 68 and 68 and 72F, with RH 50 to 55%. I did one layer, closed the bags and hung them up for good overall air circulation. I gave the bag a little bounce shake on days 3 and 5. Solid rocks from the Green Poison after drying.:thumbsup:

Was surprised how well it works, think the heatwave here in California helped with the drying

I see where it's been cooking down there. We get just a bit of that heat for a few dayz starting tomorrow. It will be in the low 70's

Ya, I'll use the bags again this winter on my little indoors runs. Using the tent for growing and not for drying will be nice :weed:

It’s hot here,I moved here from Ireland 23 years ago and still can’t get used to the heat, have 2 fans running all day in the house, you can smell the smoke from the fires in Napa in San Francisco

How far is San Fran from you, those fires are bad.

So how long
To keep them In bags before you jar them
On the one that’s currently drying, I’ll do 3 days without opening the bag then drop a hygrometer in. I wait till that holds 73%RH so about 5 days then into jars for the cure. All my buds were wet trimmed first, no stalk or sugar leaves just the buds

It took me 6 days in the bags. I didn't check for 5 days, Just gave them a light shake once a day. Depends on bud size, density, buds on stems or off, and if wet trimmed first. Many variables as to the length of time.
