Harvest & Curing Drying in a brown bag

I absolutely have to give this a try after seeing so many positive reports on this technique. Really attempting to optimize smells and taste this season. Here is how I was drying last year(harvest from a single Frisian dew plant in pic, filling a 4'X8' drying rack)

So I have a question, for some reason this harvest was dried in a bag the same way as the last, same temp and humidity, buds were double the density of the first, but it dried 2 days earlier, now when I put them in the jar, rh was 52% at 36 hours it steadily stays at 62% if it was at 52 does that mean I'm wasting my time trying to cure this batch, or am I still safe in the cure zone since the moisture came back out and raised rh to 62?

Your good to go. It always does that.
Moisture always seeps back out from inside.
You just happened to hit the nail on the head.
Dont know what caused it to dry earlier, something was different somewhere.
I usually go 4 to 6 days in bags checking them after 4.

I've been experimenting with drying buds in a fridge.

I checked the Rh and the RH is 20℅. You would think it would dry it fast but it actually isn't as quick as you would think. It is because it's damn cold in there.

It takes about a week 4-5 days. What I like most, is the terpenes don't evaporate like they will in a room that is 80°, I started to feel the cooler the drying the more terpenes I would have by jar time.

I first tried out a few branches and was really impressed with the terpenes. Ungodly to be honest as long as you dont have some funky Chinese food in there. LOL DONT DO THAT, you will regret it.

Last time I did the fridge method I just cut as many branches off (trimmed or not trimmed, doesn't matter) that would fit in a brown paper bag toss them in and then we flew out to see some family for a week. I was a little worried, I won't lie. I thought of a million things that could of happened but when I got home and opened the the bag up, they were nice and dry after 5 days.

After that, I took them out of the fridge and let them chill in the bag outside of the fridge for about a day. Indo this because they can condensate a bit from the temp change. It came out of the fridge at 67 Rh.

I tried a few hits and it was 90℅ of the flavor as a long cure. So from here on out you can jar them up. I like my buds around 59 Rh. But if you where to not grow organic it may be a little harsh, so this method would be for organic growers or someone who has purple buds, because they have less chlorophyll.

I also find that boveda packs (62℅) seems to absorb the smell. I just can't seem to ever have good luck.with them. I spent a lot of money on them too. Sadly, I ended up giving them away.

So for me it is normally brown bag and into jars or fridge drying and then jars

And Yes, the fridge will smell like dank. But I do feel it should be tried!
