Dutch Passion DP Ultimates first

Lets say i start with new seed and new biobizz lightmix. For the first 10 days do i need to ph down my tap water which is 8.5? After 10 days they will receive AN nutes with ph perfect. I cant understand if ph down (mine is botanicare 0-15-0) can kill micro organics in the soil. Ouuufffff cant even make a good start :)

I don't like giving anything over 7 ph, are you leaving water out and open for at least 24hrs?

Yes i bubble it. I also tried bottled water. It also has high ph of around 8-8.5 but the ec is lower 0.5. My tap water ph 8.5 ec 1.

Bottled water is usually around 6.5 are you sure the ph pen is reading correct?

Yep. Calibrated with 4 and 7. Its bluelab so i dont think im getting false readings. I will try today other brands of bottled water to see if i find something better.
Last night i made epsom solution and sprayed the leaves before lights out. In the morning i saw that leaves are shining. I saw again the info for epsom spray solution and realised i didnt warm up the water so the epsom salts didnt dissolve in water. Should i make new solution tonight or leaves have uptaken mg from epsom you think?

Wow, those are the same nute's as I have, it says per litter, I've been using, per US GALLON--Lots of cal-mag, interested in your out come, good luck.:jointman:

Hey Rick, its been day 18 from sproud and plants have grown up but not like they should. Ofcourse there will be more growth in the following days and here is where i count for a game change. Im waiting now the roots to expand and dry the pots from the flush water so i can add this damn calmag. Only thing that bothers me is that they have been through flush from very early and this stress could mean problems in the stages to come. So i am thinking to take them down and start over or not? I ordered more biobizz light mix and it should arrive in a week or less. Until then i will run them and see how it goes.

Lowest ph bottled water in my country 7.8. Then there is Evian water 2 euros per 1.5L labeled @ph 7.2

I was badly underfeeding and didn't realize it. I went up to 7 ml. of cal-mag+ per feeding because my leave's looked so bad. So I don't think the extra cal-mag will hurt. I'm on RO water also, there is so much that can go wrong, I just wish you good luck with your decision.:jointman:

Well if you find the right information and with the right mistakes you will eventually nail it at some point. At the momment its the learning process and so far its being good  I just sprayed them another layer of epsom salts over and under the leaves. This time i boiled up water, put 0.3 litre of boiled water inside the sprayer, put 3.5 grams of epsom, shake well, add the rest of the room temp water and shaked more. I believe now sulphur and mg will definetely get inside the stomata of the leaves. In the next days they will show me signs of improvement or not. *I took my ballast down to 250w for avoiding burning spots and also turned off the fans so air doesnt dry the leaves quickly. They will enjoy their cokteil and soon they will be back to work!
