I'm sure it's been asked but I've been searching the site the past few hours..
I'm doing a soil grow in fabric bags. Just 2.

Does going up in bag size make a difference in bud yield?

I only grow for my personal medical needs. I need about 2 ounces total per grow. 3 gal bag came real close but if I could get a bit more out by going up to 5 or 7, It would be perfect.

This grow will be 1 fast buds gelato and 1 mephisto 3 bears. Gelato for day and 3 bears for night time.

if your only growing a couple of plants id go up to a 5 gallon from what iv seen over the years a bigger pot does not necessarily mean bigger plant but if you do get one of those special seeds you have the pot to deal with it if it was me id grow one big yielding plant to fill the jars and one nice tasty plant for a treat but thats just me

Generally speaking, Yes a bigger root system in soil will grow a larger plant. If other choke points are eliminated. Indoors that is light Quality and volume. If you can provide a DLI of 38 or greater up to 60 of full spectrum light then the next limiting factor will be genetics. Warm your larger pots of properly prepared and moistend soil to 78°F for a few days prior to planting your seeds directly in the soil 1/2 inch deep. We want the microbes awake and active at the warmer temperature. Use the bio stimulants Kelp and Humic Acid from day 1. Run your veg lights 24/0 until the plant has 2 sets of true leaves then go to 20/4 for the next week then 18/6 for the duration. The idea is to jump start the root system. No transplanting, soil pre-warmed, lots of blue light. Of course a proper diet of balanced nutrients.

How big is your space? Be careful what you wish for

2x2 tent, LED 600 light. Vivo.. something lol. So stoned, made chocolate tonight and licked the bowl clean!
Big ass filter and fan for ventilation.
Coco loco soil, mega crop nutes (loving this stuff), cal mag by roots organic but haven't needed it.
I think it would work with 5 just fine. I could do 3, 3 gal but I would rather stick with 2.

I mean my space is small but I'm ok with packing it full. :crying:
