Day 73 White Widow Auto Closeup shots

Hello AFN Brothers and Sisters, I have been playing around with my camera, and had one of my girls out of the tent- and tried to get in really close and steady. I could only imagine what really nice big lens could do . This is a Optima 2338mt AGFA Photo 12 Megapixel. Point and shoot camera, probably in the $80-$125 range not sure. Was a grad gift to my woman. I think we are at day 72 or 73

hey blackbriar! just went through your thread!:booya:wow! you have it together.:dance:those two ww's fill up that tent. i also think you should let her go for a while longer. if you looked (and i know you did) at my ww harvest all pistil's were red/ orange, and under scope about 40% amber, and i think she finished early, the nl/bb germed at the same time has two weeks to go. i damaged them a little when i gave them, twice during veg feeding's three times the dose of cal/mag, giving them a little brown spot on the top leave's. people say that if you want a heady high take when milky, and some like it more amber like myself.:D but i say go for amber!! and if you dont want to fall asleep, smoke less! your stash will last longer!
:dance:btw.... a beautiful grow and obvious talent. so i must reciprocate!:slap:max slap! and also i am subbing up to watch your harvest!

Well thanks for stopping in Astro!

With that being said, I am going to hold out longer. I can see it going a few more weeks, as nothing amber is showing as of yet. Thanks for the rep return! Nothing has yellowed yet, and there are still a good amount of clear trichs Id say it looks like about 60-70% cloudy 30% clear...

There are still some of the side satellite buds that are thin, Im hoping they will fatten up some more. They are still shooting leaves out all over the place. If you look really close, there is so much frost around the edge of the leaf, near the top buds, like around the edges where the serrated parts are. Smells really sweet and funky, like a spice to it with an earthy smell. Extremely sticky, I cant wait to see it in a few more weeks, man the wait is killing me! On my smaller girl I took off a small top bud to air dry and trimmed it up, around weds or thurs I will smoke it with my woman, she wanted to try it :D

Thank you for coming by,

Blackbriar

My girl keeps asking me to snip some, I haven't given in yet.

Just a question about flushing here...

So I am at day 76 with the girls, and I have not had any yellowing of the leaves at all as an indicator of it being near the end

The question is...Does flushing the medium initiate that yellowing ? Is she still green and going strong because I haven't done this yet?

Should I keep going with it as I am, and wait for that yellowing of the leaves? I appreciate the input and/or advice on this one. Thank you my AFN Brothers and Sisters!

PS- I would have to say the last time I checked (3 days ago) the trichomes were about 80-90% milky colored. I dont see any signs of Amber - I am def going for that stoned effect . At this point should I be waiting for a good amount of amber and then start flushing her? I'm just wondering if this amber color comes with the flushing process...

:slap: :beast::beast:

Flushing will usually start the yellowing process if it hasn't begun on its own because you're washing the majority of any remnant nutrients from the soil, so the plant will start to take the nutrients from its fan leaves. I usually start with plain water around 2 weeks before I plan on harvesting. If you think your lady has another 2 weeks to go before she gets to where you want her, you're fine to start now.

As far as waiting for amber goes, some strains just don't amber - not sure if these WW's are one of them. Maybe someone with experience with the strain can chime in.

Seriously kickass job bro, that lady is a sassypants! :dancer:

Kindred, thank you so much! That means alot coming from an ace like yourself! Im glad you stopped by here! Not sure either on the amber w/ the WWA, now I know what to do and what to look for - I think what I will do is wait a few days to a week, see if they are changing anymore and then give her a couple weeks of just water only

Yes, this would mark the last two weeks here to finish out around 90 days- Perhaps I should start flushing her shortly then....

That lady right there, looks like she was out in a blizzard, congrats on all that frostiness:smokebuds:thats gonna be some sticky goodness. :slap:maxed up from me bro.

Keep it green:gthumb:

Cheers bro. :smokebuds:

Do you plan to harvest her all at once or are you going to take tester buds at different stages?
