New Grower Dinafem White Widow Auto - Soil/270w LED

Dry weight of my 2nd Dinafem WWA.....

Good Morning AFN Brothers and Sisters,

I have given my second harvest a little time to cure now, and am please to announce I am thrilled with the results. It has been a fantastic , easy (my opinion), and worthwhile grow of this Dinafem White Widow Auto. My dry weight yield on my second bigger girl was ................53 grams!

This figure does not include the leaf trimming, just buds and fluffy stuff from lower on the plant.

This just about doubles the yield of the other girl- Not sure why exactly, but about half way through I could just see that the one girl was going to be considerably fatter than the other!

53 grams makes me a happy man. Should last me awhile. I am going to post a smoke report in a few days time , but I will say this is how I best describe it....

Both girls had similar structure to them, the first I chopped was more leafy at the budsites, stems not as thick - maybe genetics. The second had less sugar leaf with thicker stems. After a 2-3 week cure, the first smaller harvest has an initial skunk/pine/vanilla smell to it. It is a very deep smell, sticky is an understatement. The second girl I took has a wayyy more fuel-like smell.

Tough to describe it but it reminds me of.....like diesel fuel, petrol, something oil based. That is the scent that fills my nostrils when I pop the jar. It is like...... imagine.......diesel fuel, mixed with a scent of peanut butter and jelly, mixed with honey, and skunk and pine in the background. I hope that made sense , :D .

Now , both of them also have an odor of slight cat piss also, don't know where this comes from. Both, when burned, do give off a smell very similar to lemons and furniture polish. My girlfriend was hitting a nice size joint last night, exhaled and I happened to walk into the smoke cloud, and it was sharp, pungent, and smelled of citrus/lemons. I like! :D :D :D

Here are some photos I took this am . Also added in the pictures, as a side note, are a bag of worm castings. One of my local shops I go to, are buying castings from a different supplier. They used to have wiggle worm, and now have a new brand, finger lakes. OMRI certified. The owner stated there is way less silt and dirt, and way more castings. it was a 15 pound bag and was about 20 dollars. He advised me to try and I wouldn't be disappointed. SO I will give it a go this next time. Lastly, in the photos - I went to a head shop yesterday with a co worker and picked up a "TIGHTVAC" black plastic storage/curing jar. It works off a vacumn, and is big enough to hold my second harvest (53g) perfectly.

The only thing kinda crappy that has happened lately is, my 4" Hydrofarm inline fan sh*t the bed :( It ran non stop for about 4-6 months now. I am not sure on the warranty of it, but bought it through plant lighting hydroponics . net
It started off making a noise similar to when a wheel bearing is on the outs. If you have ever heard a bad wheel bearing you know what that is. Then came the occasional squeak squeak, then it gave way to a sound like the Millenium Falcon in my closet! LOL I then came home to it making a noise like crunk crunk crunk!

So she is dead. I need to replace it. Hopefully the vendor will work with me, if not I will hit up Hydrofarm direct and see if I can shimmy a new one. If I cant get help, anyone have a good inline 4" they like? I thought she woulda lasted a bit longer...

Anyhow, here are the pics. Thanks for coming by!

With Love,

Blackbriar
