Indoor Dankerson's Fruit Bowl Run

Try DWC but i doubt the perfect plant exists lol your plants always look great with how you grow! The only thing you can do is try different methods of growing or really try and dial in 1 method you love. DWC and autopots are where i have seen my best plants compared to every other method i tried, i have not tried drain to flood but i think that might be on par with dwc and such.

For me anything non coco/promix it is very complicated because you are just hoping everything is in balance in the soil and hoping it stays good all grow while amending it. With coco/promix and something like 1 part or 2 part megacrop/jacks has everything they need and grow some dope plants, not saying organic/dirt people don't grow great plants but it just looks very expensive and time consuming and you are really still guessing what the issue is when something happens. Keeping the ppms and ph in check is the only job i have to do with my methods and at the end of the grow i only have to flush the ppms out of the promix and i can reuse it, so very cost effective for a cheapo like me.
Thanks man! You must've read my mind lol, I already have a 17 gallon tote setup for a dwc run. After I get situated in my new place I was planning on giving that a try. Already have the GH trio nutes and some additives ready to go :crying: Then again I could also just go the coco route as well with all that, I already have an automatic watering and drain system setup. My main issue is I like variety so I'd rather grow a bunch of small/med plants than a few large ones, plus I gotta work through all the seeds I have lol. Maybe a flood/drain system would work best for me.

And yeah that's what's sort of stearing me away from soil slowly. I love the ease of it but like you said it's very hard to dial in well. Especially since each plant is different. Oddly enough my largest plants were when I was growing with FFOF and their trio bottle nutes :face:

I vote you go coco if you switch up.... another pro is you can use your pots you already have:d5: :face::face:I hear ya on the FF route since I've gone away and think I'm doing better my plants are smaller BUT I think the quality is better now just trying to get both :goodluck:

U could always give rockwool croutons in pots a go m8.. your system is already set up for it by the looks of it.

Yeah I feel that one, my quality has definitely gone up but my yeilds are lower as well so I've just been trying to get the best of both worlds. Coco definitely is appealing it just seems like a lot of work, but I definitely like the idea of how much control it has.

That's something I've been tossing around as well. Guess it really depends on which one is easier/cheaper. I've seen amazing plants grown in both, maybe I'll just do both and see what I like more :headbang:

from what I know coco is least amount of maintenance style of hydroponics but nutes can be difficult need something with plenty ca and mg MC works but seen better results from others:d5::toke:

I have the GH trio already with a few additives but I was thinking about trying out Jack's honestly. @Cooterjuice grows some amazing plants with their line and it seems relatively affordable.

Jacks is one of the cheapest if not the cheapest. I'm sold on it for sure

yup if I hadn’t just bought more meagacrop 2 part I would be ordering jacks 3-2-1 :headbang: :toke:

Just know promix is a local cheaper choice and acts just like coco minus the ph thing but lime fixes that or hell even just buying a big 3cu bale of peatmoss and adding your own garden lime and perlite will work great.

I am testing peatmoss/garden lime without perlite in a autopot and i am shocked to see it working just as good as when perlite is added. perlite might be a waste of money for autopot/bottom feeder growers, more testing is required before i cast my opinion on it tho.

I support coco and promix, both are a great choice and cheaper than the soil path in the long run. @Cooterjuice has it mastered and i would copy him if you have the money, i would only ever copy me if you grow on a small budget lol otherwise get coco and the extras.
