Indoor Dankerson's Fruit Bowl Run

Day 47:

Some of that winter frost has found it's way into the tent! The sour apple, double grape and Lecter are just pouring out the frost. Loving the progress on those 3, some large buds so far! The Mg deficiencies that have been showing up on a few of the plants have slowed to a crawl/stopped with that extra 60ppms of epsoms so that's nice. I've noticed a few P deficiencies on the Lecter and green crack, thinking that will stop since the pk times release is around 45 days. Will give a compost tea here in a few days so that should remedy it. Moving along nicely so far!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! Happy new years!

Man, when those long thick white hairs start piling up, that's my favorite smell in the whole world. Well besides 2day old chili or a fresh baked pumpkin pie. I can smell those flowers through the screen.
I'm getting a big noseful everytime I open the tent now. Started my bud candy dosing last week and the plants really start to stink up the place after that. Love it.

Day 52:

Hello everyone, happy new years! Been busy as usual around the house. Think I finally figured out what my problem has been with the plants. I believe that I am having an overdose of P which is causing a Mg lockout. I'm getting slightly acidic pH readings from my soil pH tester. It's the only thing that I could think of that would explain what I'm seeing. That being said it was likely my own fault for using a bloom tea, I think one bloom tea around day 25-30 would be good to get them started but after that I'll leave out the seabird guano. The game plan that I started yesterday is to just over water the ladies till about 20% run off for the next few waterings to help remove some of that buildup hopefully that does it. Overall they are all still doing well! Starting to see a lot of buds swelling up and packing on the frost, the DG and SA especially. The Lecter is likely not far behind, seeing some really nice colors on it already!

Thanks for stopping by everyone!
They still look great to me, happy new years!

Thanks man! Probably just my ocd kicking in lol. I have yet to get a perfect plant start to finish like I've been aiming for.
Try DWC but i doubt the perfect plant exists lol your plants always look great with how you grow! The only thing you can do is try different methods of growing or really try and dial in 1 method you love. DWC and autopots are where i have seen my best plants compared to every other method i tried, i have not tried drain to flood but i think that might be on par with dwc and such.

For me anything non coco/promix it is very complicated because you are just hoping everything is in balance in the soil and hoping it stays good all grow while amending it. With coco/promix and something like 1 part or 2 part megacrop/jacks has everything they need and grow some dope plants, not saying organic/dirt people don't grow great plants but it just looks very expensive and time consuming and you are really still guessing what the issue is when something happens. Keeping the ppms and ph in check is the only job i have to do with my methods and at the end of the grow i only have to flush the ppms out of the promix and i can reuse it, so very cost effective for a cheapo like me.
