Wynokah Oklahoma for the rattle snake hunt is a blast!!!

Here they are a love hate relationship. Need them for the fields, helps control rodents (these bastards can get out of control and quick). Not the poisonous ones mostly, meaning if its outside in the yard, ill catch it and take it to the woods away from the house. No matter what type of snake.

I just have that primal fear hehe...I appreciate them for sure and can only hope they have a chance to thrive

Like the whole town does it for population control. so they built a festival out of it.

Wow that pike reminds me of a ling cod..you dont want to get your hand in there. Have to shake them off the salmon gear occasionally they get a meter long and more

Yummm. Send me a few lbs of fresh filet.
And thats a nice small mouth bro. Our large mouths here. Big is 4 lb. Really big is over that. Anything over 7.5- 8 lbs here Goes on the wall.
Smalls a big one is 3 lbs lol. Id catch em at 4lbs till my arms were tired.

bout as sharp as striped bass gill plate.
Talk about razors lol.
Those gil plates or spurs or whatever they are. Cut you. Real sharp. Bleed much.

I usually get 5 ling(freshwater) a season through the ice while late trout fishing

The record for small mouth on the lake I live on is 10 lbs 2 oz. I bet that guy was dead tired after that fight.
