Hi there! This site is the best. So let’s get to it.

1x Cosmic Queen and 1x DBC x 3BOG

Medium/grow method: sohum soil 1 gal each direct from jiffy pellets

Feed: and supplements used: small amount of recharge when transplanting pellets

water source: Brita filter 58 ppm 5.9 ph

light used: diy bridgelux eb gen 2 3500k 186w max in 2 x 4 tent. Running at 80w at 13” about 21k lux, briefly tried lowering light to 27k lux and that’s when dbc leaf got some light green rippling in the middle of the new leaf set

Climate: 78-83F 65-85 RH consistently averaging 75% RH got it dialed in the last couple days but it was swinging a lot before that. Never got too cold

Additional info: have been changing a lot of variables trying to dial in my first grow. I added a lower oscillating fan, already had a makeshift intake clamp fan near a vent hole and a passive exhaust. Just use smart pots as filters for now. Added a mini space heater at container height and lowered the light after switching to 24/0 a couple days before. The cosmic queen I have next to dbc looks healthy except for yellow tips on the first leaf set. The second leaf set looks good. I think I didn’t wait long enough to transplant direct into sohum soil and adding the recharge maybe boosted the nutrient uptake but dbc had no issue with it.

Welcome to the forum.

I'm using Bridgelux 3000k strips. They are great lights and even greater you took the time to understand lighting. I tried measuring lux on my system but my phone capped out at 32k lux, which isn't accurate in relation to plants but I tried still, only real option was to rent a PAR meter.

I'm subbed though. Good luck.

So today is day 11 above ground. I will post photos tonight or tomorrow. I would like to hear what people think about the light green rippling on the second leaf pair of my dbc. Looks minor but it happened overnight, doesn’t seem to be getting worse once I backed off the light

I think the picture issue is the size of the image cant be over 2mb for the site. You may need to resize it
The set up sounds good. If one is taking it fine and the other looks a bit yellow. It may not need as much nutrients (specifically nitrogen(N)) but I do need to see pics.

I'm subbed up for the ride! Welcome to the forums!

Hi and welcome!!

I just finished up my DBCX3BOG ( journal is in mephisto section summer freebie ), she is a very easy plant to grow and took everything I gave her! I used a 2 gallon pot got 31 grams of some nice hard buds!! Took about 85 days from seeds to harvest, and I grow in a closet! I had her under a 65 watt hlg qb.

I used mega crop v2.1 as my nutes with sweet candy, bud explosion, easy weed, liquid urb and AN big bud to finish.

Here's a pic of the finished product
