Day 17
How do we count days? From above ground? If that's the case this is Day 15 for Dx3 and Day 14 for CQ.
I sprayed them this morning with epsom salt at 7.2ph. They really perked up 12 hours later. Dx3 was really drooping again before I sprayed. Thanks! Do you think it's okay to use epsom salt again when it's time to water? I was looking into potassium silicate or calcium carbonate for increasing PH.
I'm still messing around with climate control and want to sort out active ventilation after that. I bought a controller for a radiant space heater. It does okay with 2 fans running in the tent. I have a 12W small fan I'd like to wire up to the cooling output on the controller as an exhaust fan as I will need to do something about the smell soon.
I don't think a flush is necessary. You just need to try raising the ph of your water the next time you water your plants. Filtered/RO/Distilled water lacks nutrients that tap water naturally has, including calcium. Your soil has a calcium source in it, so the filtered/non filtered water thing doesn't really matter right now. I'd focus more on the ph of the water you're using. If you have some epsom salt lying around or at a store close by, you could use 1 tsp per gallon of water as a cal/mag foliar spray. That will get the nutes directly to the plant through its leaves.
