New Grower CFs First Grow 6 NL X BB, 1 Lemon Skunk and 1 Jack Herer Photo with T5s

I just finished smoking my and still a total head high but very enjoyable. Looks like i still have some time to go with them considering that was the first to flower.

Well I am certainly throwing down some rep for you bud...plants are turning out excellent!! Well done man!

Thanks alot 912GreenSkell! I am truly surprised with what i have managed to accomplish all around with my first grow.
Looking back at the first few pages of my journal gave me a good laugh of my humble beginnings.

I figured while I was waiting on the oven I would come over and redecorate with some new wall paper. I couldn't decide what color would go with the drapes best. Oh wait, the oven is done. Guess it worked cause I'm pretty high.
So yeah... bud porn sounded like a good idea!

This is the stuff I'll be using for hash. Tonights trash, and hopefully tomorrows stash. I've got about ~7g of trim to add to it too.

Oh haha i was too straight and then too stoned that i almost forgot to mention that i am picking up a 4.5x4.5x6.5 Tent and a 1000W HPS kit for 200$ both unused on Wednesday. I was not ever going to get any HIDS but the deal was too good to pass up. Tent is worth the 200$ easy and light kit 150-300$.

Not sure if i will put the T5s in the tent or try to manage the heat of the HPS and hope for more bud density

I was thinking about flowering Jackie in there by herself as soon as i move at the end of march. Anyone want to see that happen? If not she goes outside once it gets warm enough.

I will still have my good old T5s to start some auto seeds at the same time and a few clones from Jackie to keep her going for seeds if i like what she gives.

Weekly update
First gen is on Day 62. Temps have been much better this past week and the plants have reduced the rate at which they drink up. Going to start some Titan (Overdrive) and Sugar Shack (Bud Candy) on them sometime this week once i go buy it for a good 2 weeks and then flush with actual Flawless Finish.

NL x BB Fem Auto #1 Main cola leaves took some heat damage but still ok for now.

NL X BB Fem Auto #2 Still doing great and flowering along! Some top leaves are getting pale for some reason..might be time to switch back to RO water for this one.

NL X BB Fem Auto #3 Still alive and kicking somehow....Nice looking buds too.

Lemon Skunk Fem Auto. Budding along nicely and done with its main cola stretch i think. I had no choice but to trim her up a little to get some light further down.

Jack Here Fem PHOTO (Jackie) Jackie is doing great besides a little excess trimming this past week. Most of the interior fan leaves have been removed to try and promote some side-side branches to grow for clones. I have actually had some success with this. And for whenever i decide to flower her i would prefer to keep the inside hollow since its going to be a huge bush at that point.

Second Gen is at DAY 55.

NL X BB Fem Auto #4 Still not sure what made this one stay too small.....going to have to read my own journal later to try and figure it out. Very nice buds tho and getting nice light all around with the T5-T8 hybrid.

NL X BB Fem Auto #5 The giant is doing very well considering it has alot of foliage and dosent get much light down below.

NL X BB Fem Auto #6 Lots of leaves on this one too but tons of budsites. Both of these might work against me in the end with less energy sent to the top where the light is the best.

Alot of progress in a week now that i look back....i have 2 samples that i am drying properly in cardboard boxes to get a good idea of how to go abouts doing that harvest day and to see wha tthe density is like. 1 hanging in a cardboard box and one in a brown paper bag.

Speaking of density....Since i will have the tent and 1000W HPS i might aswell use them together instead of fighting to get all my T5s in there for just 30days. I would keep Lemon, Jackie and #4 under the T5 sunbed and put the rest in the Tent. I think this is a good idea but would like some opinions on going from T5 to HPS if anyone has done so. I figure its about the same but with alot less Blue.......might have to add 2-4 6400-10000K single bulb T5s to make up for it since they seem to like it alot.

Well FML....the guy that was supposed to sell me the tent and 1000W kit bailed on me and sold it for the same price to some cousin of his.....back to the drawing board it is.

Well finally i ended up getting an older magnetic 430w setup for 40$ and a 1000w dimmable e-ballast for 110$ just need to get a reflector and bulb for it.

I am just trying to do my best with what i have which is a very limited budget and it worked out better than expected. I came across alot of good deals that really helped me out.
The information is already out there and the same questions have been asked over and over again with various answers. The only way to really find out is to try it out yourself so ive been experimenting alot and most of it has turned out great.

I would love to get a Mars II 900/1200 and Grow one Dutch Passion Think Different or Auto Ultimate under each the Mars, 432W of T5s and the 430W HPS as a real test. Since i know both of those plants can give a great harvest i wouldnt be losing too much harvest for a cycle if any.

I usually really suck at participating in forums or writing anything for people to actually read but this is just too much fun and very rewarding.
