New Grower Jack Herer & Compassion Lime with sensi pro bio diesel lineup

Hello!
Had a feed so dropping an update...
I go into as many details as I can think of as good science is good recording... right...? Haha!
should help me in the future and possibly somebody else? Any glaring issues I’d appreciate a call out:cheers:

11.11.20
Day 12
Surface dry to depth of 5 - 10mm
Pots: light
Water bubbled 72hrs and has a ph 7.2
(I fill a 20ltr bucket and just leave it for multiple uses with an air stone hence the 72hrs!)
Feed:
6 litres - 3 each
Rhizo x 12ml
Green x 5ml
Diamond x 5ml
Super x 5ml
Ec: 0.6
Ph: 5.8
Let mix sit for a little while to let ph balance out.
Water slow, steady and evenly in a concentric circles around the edge first. Then after a little wait do the rest going from middle and back out again.
Next feed I’ll be moving to veg mix dropping rhizo and replacing with marine cal mag and aloevate. I’ll likely aim for an ec of 0.8.
3 litres each with minimal run off. Will go with 4 litres each next round.

Rh: 46-72%
Temp: 22.1-28.8c

Lights: Keeping lights at 90cm for now. Once growth starts kick off I’ll let them grow to the light, going from 90cm to 60cm for veg. Flower I’ll let them go to 40cm. I also have two optic 1xl 100watt full spectrum cobs. I may turn these on for flower but it is entirely dependent on temperatures. It’s only gonna get hotter here and I’d really like to avoid having to run the ac. But optic 2 is not really rated for this space for flower. Ugh... gonna be tough!

Lime: 7.5cm
Looks like she’s growing 3 sets of leaves for her second set of true leaves.

Hey,
Gonna keep this short and sweet... girls seem real small, so not so sure what’s going on there and where I may be going wrong. Healthy anyway, jacks even got a little fragrance going on.

Noticed a few spots on a fan leaf when I last fed on the lime. Hasn’t progressed at all so not too concerned. This is the second grow feed so I’m guessing I went a little too long with the seedling feed.

I tested run off this feed, had a lot of run off with 4 litres, around 1.5 to 2 litres! Will reduce to 3 litres each see how that goes.
Run off has quite high EC, 1.2, feed going in is .8, possibly because I wasn’t watering to run off during seedling stage. Ph coming out at 5.8.
Growth seems a little slow but general health seems good so not too fussed.
Happy growing :pass:

Day 24
Lots going on today, got out the wire and tied these girls down, not too long till they were looking back up at me. Accidentally snapped a secondary branch but was quick with the tape and she’s rekindled herself.
I also made a homemade gravity drip system. Smell is going to be a big issue and watering 1-2 times a day will be a problem having the tent open so much. I’m going to see how they pan out but may do a separate post on how I made them. Pretty fun, love getting crafty and over complicating things haha.
fed the girls week 3 schedule with a bit of added water to bring ec down to .9, ph’d to 5.8. Climate all over the shop generally, at the whim of the real climate and temperature can be 32c outdoors one day and 18c the next.Generally between 23-28, rh 55-65.
Lime is still looking a bit weird but growing all the same, much taller than jack who’s very bushy.

Hey,

Been a while and things kinda took a turn for the worse. Climate has been crazy and just outer control which hasn’t helped at all. My plan to feed by ec clearly was out of whack and doesn’t suit this nute lineup at all, even when I was going on the lower side of recommended ec. Plan on following the schedule to a T next time around. I found most of the time the recommended mix was under EC guides I’ve found here and elsewhere which has me baffled as most of the time schedules are real strong.
Plants never truely recovered even with multiple flushes and problems have just persisted. That coupled with climate problems and I was always going to have a hard grind.
Just trying to stave off mould now, with humidity hitting 70%+.
I did a heavy defol as to help try mitigate mould issues and decrease humidity, took a couple of low hanging buds that were just clogging up space and theyve smoked very well to be honest.
Still a fair bit of bud on these trees and I’ve never grown anything with such a thick stalk so hoping they’ll still put on a bit of weight over the next couple of weeks.
Day 60 week 9 now, so not long left so may not get much more.

I will be doing another grow but will hold off until autumn when temps have cooled down. I’ll do a full run with themanufacturers schedule and keep a weekly journal. Never found a detailed journal with someone using this brand so wanted to try and help others. Ended up needing help myself hahaha. Live and learn!
