New Grower CFs First Grow 6 NL X BB, 1 Lemon Skunk and 1 Jack Herer Photo with T5s

Due to my calmag issues and higher top of canopy temps usually going as high as 85 i decided not to get ANs Big Bud at 56$ for 1L (I know i needed a bloom booster way before now but finances forced me to hold off on it) I instead managed to get some store brand Silica, CalMag and Bloom Booster.

These were both dirt cheap compared to any other brand and the stats of them are pretty much the same. I also pay sticker pice without tax with my account there plus an extra discount when i buy tons of stuff.

This powdered Sonic Boost looks like it will do the trick and it was under 18.95$. it call for 1/4 Tsp per 10L of water so i made a mix of 5/8 Tsp with 500ml of water. This way 20ml per L of water would be full strength but il only be using 5-10ml per L for 1/4-1/2 strength respectively.

Stay tuned for a full update either tonight or tomorrow night after they have gotten a proper bloom feed and maybe a little burn while i work things out with all the added products.

And as always, Grow On Folks!

I predict buckets of buds in your future ... don't use over 1/2 strength to start with ... :vibe:

Thanks alot for the vote of confidence Chester! Smaller girls got 1/8 of the new stuff and older ladies got 1/4 to see how it goes. Im already watering 2L each every 2-3 days without run off so ive got plenty of chances to experiment before they are ready for me.

Heres a pic of everything ive got nute wise sofar:

And planning on adding some Overdrive and Flawless finish by the end of it all. I am definitely going to stay with AN for base nutes and mycos like Voodoo Tarantula and Nirvana but pretty sure i will be replacing the rest of the lineup with cheaper localish brands that are pretty much the same.

I have been having alot of problems with life lately and barely enough time to take care of my girls so not much for updates but couldnt sleep tonight anyways so here i am.

So the first 5 ahead of the rest are on Day 43. Nothing really specific to the feedings anymore since they all want something different and are picky about it so ive just been feeling it out and trying to give what they want. I have seen some NLxBB go to 90-100 days so i am at least halfway there!

The red solo cups are all clones from Jackie and some tiny lower branches i took off of the autos. I dont see any point in just throwing them out when i can experiment a little.

NL x BB Fem Auto #1 Still not a single problem with this one and hoping to keep it that way!

NL X BB Fem Auto #2 CalMag deficency has almost come to a halt and buds are coming in nicely. Definitely going to be the first to finish at this rate. Next defs will surely come from low PH from using RO water but thankfully my tap has a high PH so I will start alternating water sources.

NL X BB Fem Auto #3 Still having some issues with this one.....not going to prune the ugly leaf that is still greenish like i did to make #2 pretty again until i dont notice any more progression of the defs.

Lemon Skunk Fem Auto. Previous Mg def was solved last week for sure and flowering is progressing nicely. A little worried about how bushy it is for light penetration but going to hold off on the pruning until later into flower to see how it goes.

Jack Here Fem PHOTO (Jackie) She is still doing well on the side and not directly under any of the lights somehow....glad i kept her to play around with later. I was going to flower her now but theres no way i can put her in and out of the dark every 12hrs over the holidays so she will have to wait until i move.

These next little guys are at DAY 36.

NL X BB Fem Auto #4 Still small and flowering along.

NL X BB Fem Auto #5 After further observation this one may be the tallest but i doubt it will yield the most as the stretch was not favorable to bud sites but still good looking none the less.

NL X BB Fem Auto #6 Looking great with medium height and tight nodes. I burned her a bit today with a strong feed but diluted it within the hour.

So there you have it. Another week and another few issues but still progressing within acceptable limits. I didnt think i would have time for an update until next week but while tossing and turning in bed i figured i owed it to my supporters to at least snap a few crappy pictures and let them know how things are going. That and once i saw my active grow was on the second page of New Growers i felt even worse.....

Grow on folks!

Thanks for the fix ... :hookah:

Haha no problem chester. I realized after that i should keep the journal with at least weekly updates so i can look back on this and laugh at myself a little whenever i think things are bad in future grows :haha:

I also may if seen a couple evil gnats and larva during watering today.......gona let the peat dry out real good and get some sand for the top. Or would perlite serve the same purpose? I already have a huge bag of it.

looking great CF.

Thanks elsamurai. Learning alot with the first 3 NLxBBs with 2 of them constantly giving me issues and one doing just fine. Im expecting the second generation to do much better with the early introduction of bloom nutes, calmag and silica.

Nice man!! Looking good in there!

Thanks buddy! Wait until you see the update i will have up in a few hours. Only 1 of the first generation is still having issues and 1 is in mint condition with the 3rd being in between. Second gen has no issues that i can make out the entire grow. Both are starting to to really bud up nicely.

Edit. Dropped my phone in the water last night so the update is delayed until i get my hands on another or a camera tonight
