Watts are Amps X Voltage If the voltage is 115Volts and the amos are 2.0 then you are useing 230 watt. really.

day 5 from i put in soil im using a 400watt ge metealH...its about five feet above my girls, how do u think they look are they strecthing are do they look good!!! strains are russian rocket fuel and bllue h disiel...any onfo would be great

HELP !!!!can i get someone to stop by my grow and look at my girls...day 5 are they strecthing

They do look a little stretched, not to bad though, why is your light so far away? I've never used MH but that seems to be to far, can you have the light about 18" above them and have your hand at the same height for a minute without it being uncomfortable and burn you?

I have a 400 watt mh in a 6 inch yeild master classic hood...i just hooked it to top of tent where holes were made it easier to get air blowing threw tube to cool light???so should i raise the plants up or lower the light???and if so what should i use???and how far??any help would be appericated, as im trying to learn and learn the right way...other than that do they look to be on track???

oh dude... they havent really had a chance to stretch yet... lol I'd keep your MH 400 W about 16 - 18" like Canadian said... run 20/4 lights for at least the first 2 weeks... if you wanna max results... then i wouldn't go below 18/6 after that...

you're doin fine mate!

keep your ph on point!! thats most important... and dont feed to early..

what i mean is that not all autos are the same lol
I have been growing the same genetic line for over a year now
and they all seem like they really like my fert schedule.

This is what i doi break it down as follows

First off let me talk about what i use as ferts. I have a 4 part system that i use and most of this is in the brain so please bare with me as i share this one.

I use FF grow big (hydro formula) Tiger Bloom and then two tea variations. One is high in N for veg and the other is high in Phosphorus when its time to flower.
I apply these through out the grow. I use the FF to get it started.
then i move to the teas and then back to the FF and then back to the teas

So i break it down like this:
FF GB is 3Tbsp/1Gal for heavy feedings. So in my mind this is more than enough for our fave friends. So it states that 2tbsp/1gal is for normal feedings so i use this as my base number. After that i break it down into 1/4

at 7 days i start like this
Day 7 1/4 dose to a gal
Day 14 1/2 dose to a gal + 8oz of N rated tea
Day 21 1tbsp GB and then 1/4 of TB (bringing in the TB)
Day 28 1/2 TB + 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Day 35 1.5 tbsp TB to a gal
Day 41 2tbsp of TB and 8oz of Phosphorus rated tea
Then Flush till finish unless it needs something at the end.

I think that this is everything that i do like i said i am not sure as this is all in my head. If the plants demand more that i give more this is just something to go by. I usually do not swap in clean water feedings at all over the fert program. I just use the jug then its gone. Now if i start to see over feeding or lockouts ill flush.
But if i keep my water on point i never usually see a lock out or toxicity.

Hope this helps

thats Fd's fert ched... that should give you a general guide.

ok checked ph al read about 6.2 to 6.6 is this ok also on one of fan leaves of seedlings look like very small yellow dot any idea what this might be seems to be doing fine!!!!!!temp in tent is usally about 76 or 77 this is about where i wannna be right???

So far everything looks good. pH is fine, temps maybe just a bit cool. 79-80 is ideal. Just lower the light as others suggested and you should be fine.
