I’ve had these units for a few months now, and have put them through their paces.

After several rounds of harvests, I must say, these are excellent quality, and work exactly as advertised.

A truly set it and forget it drying and curing system, these will give you excellent quality, perfectly dried and cured bud in as little as eight days (using the default settings). Denser buds benefit from an extra week in standby mode (which is what you’ll use for storage).

Simply wet trim your buds, fill the shelves and push start… except for keeping the sponge wet, and the drain tray emptied…the Cannatrol does the rest.

Customer service has been top notch, and shipping was fast.

A few things of note….
-The Cannatrol locks the terpenes within the trichomes. Meaning, the bud will smell less until you grind it….then you’ll be hit with an explosion of terpy goodness.
-My one complaint is the size. They could be bigger…. I require two for my needs (I store in one). According to the instructions, 2.2 pounds is the max amount of WET bud you should put in. I’ve done closer to three pounds with no problems… just mind the air flow.
-There’s a hidden, self diagnostic mode. I’ll eventually do a how to thread on troubleshooting.
-The unit picks up where it left off in the event of a power failure.
-Yes, it’s expensive. And well worth it in my opinion. Taking the guesswork out of the dry/cure process, and ensuring your hard work shines through in the end product is worth every penny, in my opinion.
-I spoke with the owner of the company, and he told me they sell replacement parts at cost, and support their customers in the event of a parts failure outside of the original warranty. They ship you new parts, and detailed instructions on installation, and will answer any questions during the process.

So, if you struggle with the dry/cure process for one reason or another….or want to eliminate the guesswork, stem snapping, jar burping etc…. Then the Cannatrol Cool Cure might be what you’re looking for.

2 of them nice! I think you should make some hash, and test out how well it dries it lol.
:pass:
I’ll tell you this though, it says in the manual it can be used to dry hash.

Also, I dried some wet gummies (were in the freezer) and it dried them in just a few hours, and began to dehydrate them slightly (darker edges)…

I think it would work just fine to dry hash…:pass:

Haha I’m a rosin presser :lildab: (stay tuned for the coming review of my press).
Me too, but I'd like to become a hash rosin maker as well lol. All the best rosin I've seen has come from hash. So id like to give that a go. Made hash once, it was a fun process smelled wonderful! Let me know when you do your review.
