Outdoor Bud's Back Yard - UK 2017

@StickMan ... I blame you entirely! :biggrin:
The hermies were the White Dom x Frost Dragon Autos you made! ... :crying:

Dude, I know kids who've had the best upbringing, education and breeding .. and they're still fucked-up! Plants are no different, in fact the more I grow them, the more I see similarities between us both.

I did notice some unusual shit tho' .. both the fems that hermie'd suffered a calcium deficiency early on .. don't know why, they all had the same treatment ... the best soil the Dutch have to offer and my tender loving care:

I'll post some more tomorrow, I'm on daddy-duty this week so I've got school in the morning!
And don't talk to me about fucking cloning ... I have another rant to post on that subject!
:WTF:
Fuck, don't I feel bad and stupid! But, but, but, it had to of been the grower and not the pollen chucker. Totally kidding my brother. You my friend are a stellar grower, so it was obviously the genetics.

You know I'm not positive, but these may have been F2s made from F1s I got from someone in Canada. I make way too many seeds. Either way, brother I'm so sorry that these hermied on you! At least they were just autos, and not showing up after several weeks as with photos. Only other person that I know of that grew them out was Flying Goat, but that was in Mexico. She didn't mention any hermies, but like you stated plants can have the best upbringing, education and breeding, and still be fucked up, but just hearing and seeing your plants, the rest of seeds are getting binned.

Your other autos are stunning. Just goes to show again not the grower but the genetics. Carry on.

Peace

It's not over yet dude .. I still have one left that's all woman! :eyebrows:

Looks like I'm about to make a load of f3's then ... check this out for a nifty way to selectively pollinate an outdoor plant ...

I waited until the male pollen sacs looked like this ... just about to burst ..
Ready-to-release.jpg

Then using the fiskars, I snipped the whole pod off catching it in the balloon.

Check the target plant, is she ready?
Is-she-ready.jpg

Yup. Then build a frame over the target plant, not too tall, needs to accommodate a plastic bin-liner all the way to the floor..
Framework.jpg

Fit your bag over the top and tape it up at the neck, making sure it can reach the ground ..
Binliner-fitting.jpg

Then blow up your balloons .. I used 2 and had at least a dozen pollen 'pods' rattling around inside each one.
Lift the plastic bag and attach the balloons to the framework ..
Balloon-fitting.jpg

Pull the plastic bag down over the lot and fix securely to the ground ..
Ready-to-burst.jpg

Now just burst the 2 balloons, the lower one first then the higher one, using a pin from the outside..!
I doused the bag and neighboring plants with water and left for 24 hours, then doused everything again with water before, during and after the bag removal.
Job done. We'll see if it worked in about 6 weeks time.
I did inspect the ground afterwards and found most of the pollen sacs had burst open .. not that they had much choice in the matter.

Dude, that is truly a genius way of selectively pollinating a plant fully. Takes away a couple of unnecessary steps as well, with conditions like you are working with. I actually have to go harvest some pollen the old fashion way in an hour or so.

If you want to make sure this are indeed F3s, I will try to track the fellow down. I certainly need to start keeping better records. But the more my old brain thinks about the more I am 99% certain these are F3s. The target plant is smallish for many autos anymore, but they certainly have their place. Will be interested to see how many days from seed to weed. I did the repro(?) two summers ago indoor, so entirely different environments.

Shit, I must of been way too medicated when I read about the hermi issue, so much so I did end up binning my pack of Durbellas, forgetting about the autos. Fuck! I did just got some Mighty Durban m/f beans in the post today, so maybe I will add some C99 photo to them, or c99a, or wait back to the straight Durbella autos? Too many options. Also just found an old breeders pack(Breeder Brad) of C99 x Golden Gorrilla [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG], that I should repro them as I know they are old stock.

Beautiful looking soil my friend, I know that any of OD growers are drooling over it.

@912Greenskill bro, did I send some of these to you? Seems like my retarded brain thinks I may have.

Peace

Chillax dude .. I still have some Durbarella regs left .. f2's by Anasrzi.
I only popped 4 of 10, 100% germ, looks like all 4 are girls, leading me to think these may be fem'd?
I'll pm you on mjn.

Back to the White DF Dragons .. they certainly do have their place, they started flowering around day 14 which is way too fast for the plant to put any bulk on, however, if you crossed this strain with something that takes fucking ages but yields shitloads of quality strong dank bud, then my friend you'd have a winner imho. I only dunked half the beans, so still have 4 left, now stored for future breeds in the fridge. You're not the only seed junkie in town ..! :muahaha:

Doesn't sound to me like you've got seed issues over there anyway, ya greedy bastard!:biggrin::biggrin:

Good call chopping. Need to do that tonight on a MOB that is finishing up indoors. Won't use this particular pheno for breeding, but sure looks and smells like she will be nice. Need to update my OD journal. Been busy as hell of late again. Too many projects going on.

Peace

Nice garden once again, very nice start where I'm at an outdoor harvest already is a god send ,definitely in a drought season before the influx of outdoor.
