Boveda Wants to Hear From YOU!

...Yes dude I flush.....for 6-7 days prior to chop.....I let the Ph bounce between 5.75 and 6.08 on the plain water I use....and I just water to about 20% run off as usual....:vibe:
@Vapo69 there is a questionnaire to fill-out look back to the beginning of the thread.

Drrrrrrrum rooooolllllllllllllll !!!!!

Here's Week 1's Questionnaire.
(Please answer inside the quote that appears after you 'reply'.

Boveda wants to hear what you do to prepare for your harvest.

Most agree that there are 5 distinct phases in this last & final push of time, energy, & patience. All agree that much can be learned from those who have been doing this for years --that possibly being you.

Boveda wants to hear all voices.

Each week over the next 5 weeks there will be a new questionnaire. Your names will be recorded for each week's questionnaire and at the end of the 5 weeks I'll draw one name for each week. There will be 5 lucky winners getting a Boveda Butler!

Step One: To Flush or not to flush? That is the question that Boveda wants you to answer :)

As most know, the word "flush" is given to the action of feeding only water for a period of time before the cut. Yes, this step is debated online with the idea being that the time spent with no nutrients is too much loss in yield to justify the results. To others, it's about purity & safety.

PLEASE TRY TO KEEP ANSWERS IN POINT FORM FOR EASE OF READING :)

You can answer inside the quote that appears when you click 'reply'. No time limit but new Q's weekly for the next 5 weeks. Boveda thanks you & encourages you to have fun :)

We're all ears.

Though my feedback will not be counted, I'll be the first to fill out the questions :watering:

There are products to add in the days/weeks before the cut.

Do you use any of these products?

DIY (recipe or how-to) or Store (which product)?

Do you flush?

A>if yes, for how long?

>>do you count days or 'waterings'?

>>>do you merely feed water or do you actually flush the entire medium with fresh water?

B>if no, why not?

FREE REIGN: This is where we hope you'll expand on some of those tiny details subjective to each of you when preparing for the cut:

Do you use any of these products? No. Just water.

Do you flush?

B>if no, why not?
-- Im organic mostly so i dont really feed via liquid. I topdress weekly. The last topdress is 7 days before scheduled cut day.
And my 1 very "dont do it this way" (documented in my journal) megacrop grow didnt get really flushed either. I just topped the mini-res with water for the last few feeds. But there were nutes still in from the "last feeding"

I should note that i stop watering my soil plants on wednesday and usually cut on saturday night or sunday. So any kinda flush is not happening. And i dont think that soaking a fully flowered plants roots is not beneficial enough when compared to the root rot and other risks (this is just my opinion. Do what works for you)

Fire one off for me [emoji108] HG

I try and stop feeding Mega Crop around 7 to 14 days before harvest and continue feeding Sweet Candy and Element X ( no longer available:cuss:) till 5 to 20% amber trichs feed 2 quarts then 3 to 5 days for pot/soil to dry then CHOP CHOP.

I’ve never even herd of these till now I have always used paper bags and shoe boxes then into jars I might try these out

Absolutely! So you could keep your bag-dry method and then pop the Boveda with your bud in the jar. Within a few days, the RH will stabilize and in doing so the Boveda will absorb any excess or exude pure water vapor to revive to either 58 or 62% RH.

Mostly I dry them first by hanging buds in my tent for 3 to 5 days. Then I place them in a large paper grocery bag. I have heard of Boveda Packs but never have tried them. On a limited budget for my grows.

Boveda at work, freshly jarred buds!
