Boveda Wants to Hear From YOU!

Personally I wish more dispensaries in Colorado would carry these (or any type of desiccant, I'm not biased.) They call it "deli style" here, where the buds can be openly looked at, smelled, handled (by the budtender with gloves,) even sometimes let you view them under a scope in certain places. It's awesome, but the downside is that the jars are opening and closing on a regular basis (and nothing at all being done to help control humidity loss.) Colorado also claims to have a dry climate for growing here (at least that's the defense of the commercial growers when you ask why their buds are so dry.) Even if the buds open and close through the day, certainly for a length of time from close to open they are stored in a sealed environment. You know what, I think I have a few packs here, I'll see if I can convince our local dispensary owner to pop a few in his jars and see if they notice any difference.
Hi again, I'm just re-reading through here and wanted to let you know that we've just hired a new rep in the Colorado area so you should see more Boveda soon. Cheers!

Oh no kidding? Out of Denver? You need to start some dispensary campaigns, you'd cringe if you saw how dry they let the flower get here.

Haha that colorado crunch!! Boveda saves me every winter with my 20 to 30% humidity.
The (edit)alternative(/edit) market here you can almost tell in summer where its from.

FINALLY!!!

Final Boveda Questionnaire

Step 5: Storage

Do you normally store using any kind of humidity control pack?
If so, which one & which RH? (58% or 62%)

In your experience, have you ever lost any of your harvest to mold & microorganism growth?

When storing, we assume an airtight container is used. Do you store those containers in any special way or in any special place? eg. darkness? cool area? wherever there's room?

From friends who are new to using humidity control technology state that now, the last bud of cannabis is as fresh and tasty as the first.
Is this an issue you see the need for?

Hey there! You're in luck. I work remotely writing and engaging on behalf of Boveda. Life happened & it's now still ongoing much longer than I anticipated. (thanks everyone for your patience!)

If you go back to the beginning of this thread & follow it thru, you'll see the 4 questions on your technique for harvest. I'm about to post the 5th one.

I figure I'll draw the 5 prizes later this week. Originally, the prize was a Boveda Butler but as mentioned above, we're getting inconsistent feedback on the Butler and so we're holding it back until perfected. In place of the butler (and possibly even more valuable for growers) will be actual Boveda product of both RH's (58 & 62) so you can try both.

There will be 5 prizes in total.

Thanks for your interest!
Awesome and sorry life is rough right now and :vibes::karmacloud: your way!

Step 5: Storage

Do you normally store using any kind of humidity control pack?
If so, which one & which RH? (58% or 62%) I store with 62% because my buddy buys bulk and we share, if I could choose it would be 58%.

In your experience, have you ever lost any of your harvest to mold & microorganism growth? No and don't wish that on any grower.

When storing, we assume an airtight container is used. Do you store those containers in any special way or in any special place? eg. darkness? cool area? wherever there's room? Closet at 70f

Truthfully I don't know, I don't think mine last long enough. But tastes the same.

With proper curing and storage environment, this should not be an issue.
